1 তোমরা আপনাদের জন্য অবস্তু প্রতিমা নির্ম্মাণ করিও না, এবং ক্ষোদিত প্রতিমা কিম্বা স্তম্ভ স্থাপন করিও না, ও তাহার কাছে প্রণিপাত করিবার নিমিত্তে তোমাদের দেশে কোন ক্ষোদিত প্রস্তর রাখিও না; কেননা আমি সদাপ্রভু তোমাদের ঈশ্বর।

2 তোমরা আমার বিশ্রামবার সকল পালন করিও, ও আমার ধর্ম্মধামের সমাদর করিও; আমি সদাপ্রভু।

3 যদি তোমরা আমার বিধিপথে চল, আমার আজ্ঞা সকল মান ও সে সমস্ত পালন কর,

4 তবে আমি যথাকালে তোমাদিগকে বৃষ্টি দান করিব; তাহাতে ভূমি শস্য উৎপন্ন করিবে, ও ক্ষেত্রের বৃক্ষ সকল স্ব স্ব ফল দিবে।

5 তোমাদের শস্যমর্দ্দনকাল দ্রাক্ষাচয়নকাল পর্য্যন্ত থাকিবে, ও দ্রাক্ষাচয়নকাল বীজবপনকাল পর্য্যন্ত থাকিবে; এবং তোমরা তৃপ্তি পর্য্যন্ত অন্ন ভোজন করিবে, ও নিরাপদে নিজ দেশে বাস করিবে।

6 আর আমি দেশে শান্তি প্রদান করিব; তোমরা শয়ন করিলে কেহ তোমাদিগকে ভয় দেখাইবে না; এবং আমি তোমাদের দেশ হইতে হিংস্র জন্তুদিগকে দূর করিয়া দিব; ও তোমাদের দেশে খড়গ ভ্রমণ করিবে না।

7 আর তোমরা আপনাদের শত্রুগণকে তাড়াইয়া দিবে, ও তাহারা তোমাদের সম্মুখে খড়েগ পতিত হইবে।

8 আর তোমাদের পাঁচ জন তাহাদের এক শত জনকে তাড়াইয়া দিবে, তোমাদের এক শত জন দশ সহস্র লোককে তাড়াইয়া দিবে, এবং তোমাদের শত্রুগণ তোমাদের সম্মুখে খড়েগ পতিত হইবে।

9 আর আমি তোমাদের প্রতি প্রসন্নবদন হইব, তোমাদিগকে ফলবন্ত ও বহুবংশ করিব, ও তোমাদের সহিত আমার নিয়ম স্থির করিব।

10 আর তোমরা সঞ্চিত পুরাতন শস্য ভোজন করিবে, ও নূতনের সম্মুখ হইতে পুরাতন শস্য বাহির করিবে।

11 আর আমি তোমাদের মধ্যে আপন আবাস রাখিব, আমার প্রাণ তোমাদিগকে ঘৃণা করিবে না।

12 আর আমি তোমাদের মধ্যে গমনাগমন করিব, ও তোমাদের ঈশ্বর হইব, এবং তোমরা আমার প্রজা হইবে।

13 আমি সদাপ্রভু তোমাদের ঈশ্বর, আমি মিসর দেশ হইতে তোমাদিগকে বাহির করিয়া আনিয়াছি, তাহাদের দাস থাকিতে দিই নাই; আমি তোমাদের যোঁয়ালি-কাষ্ঠ ভাঙ্গিয়া সোজা ভাবে তোমাদিগকে গমন করাইয়াছি।

14 কিন্তু যদি তোমরা আমার কথা না শুন, আমার এই সকল আজ্ঞা পালন না কর,

15 যদি আমার বিধি অগ্রাহ্য কর, ও তোমাদের প্রাণ আমার শাসন সকল ঘৃণা করে, এইরূপে তোমরা আমার আজ্ঞা পালন না করিয়া আমার নিয়ম ভঙ্গ কর, তবে আমিও তোমাদের প্রতি এই ব্যবহার করিব;

16 তোমাদের জন্য বিহ্বলতা, যক্ষ্মা ও কম্পজ্বর নিরূপণ করিব, যাহাতে তোমাদের চক্ষু ক্ষীণ হইয়া পড়িবে, ও প্রাণ ব্যথা পাইবে, এবং তোমাদের বীজ বপন বৃথা হইবে, কেননা তোমাদের শত্রুগণ তাহা ভক্ষণ করিবে।

17 আর আমি তোমাদের প্রতি বিমুখ হইব; তাহাতে তোমরা আপন শত্রুগণের সম্মুখে আহত হইবে; যাহারা তোমাদিগকে দ্বেষ করে, তাহারা তোমাদের উপরে কর্ত্তৃত্ব করিবে, এবং কেহ তোমাদিগকে না তাড়াইলেও তোমরা পলায়ন করিবে।

18 আর যদি তোমরা ইহাতেও আমার বাক্যে মনোযোগ না কর, তবে আমি তোমাদের পাপপ্রযুক্ত তোমাদিগকে সাত গুণ অধিক শাস্তি দিব।

19 আমি তোমাদের বলের গর্ব্ব চূর্ণ করিব, ও তোমাদের আকাশ লৌহের মত ও তোমাদের ভূমি পিত্তলের মত করিব।

20 তাহাতে তোমাদের বল নিরর্থক নিঃশেষিত হইবে, কেননা তোমাদের ভূমি শস্য উৎপন্ন করিবে না, ও দেশস্থ বৃক্ষ সকল স্ব স্ব ফল দিবে না।

21 আর যদি তোমরা আমার বিপরীত আচরণ কর, ও আমার কথা শুনিতে না চাও, তবে আমি তোমাদের পাপানুসারে তোমাদিগকে আরও সাত গুণ আঘাত করিব।

22 আর তোমাদের মধ্যে বনপশু পাঠাইব; তাহারা তোমাদের সন্তান হরণ করিবে, তোমাদের পশুপাল বিনষ্ট করিবে; তোমাদিগকে সংখ্যায় ন্যূন করিবে; আর তোমাদের রাজপথ সকল ধ্বংসিত হইবে।

23 ইহাতেও যদি আমার উদ্দেশে শাসিত না হও, কিন্তু আমার বিপরীত আচরণ কর,

24 তবে আমিও তোমাদের বিপরীত আচরণ করিব, ও তোমাদের পাপপ্রযুক্ত আমিই তোমাদিগকে সাত বার আঘাত করিব।

25 আমি নিয়মলঙ্ঘনের প্রতিফল দিবার জন্য তোমাদের উপরে খড়গ আনিব, তোমরা আপন আপন নগরমধ্যে একত্রীভূত হইবে, আমি তোমাদের মধ্য মহামারী পাঠাইব, এবং তোমরা শত্রুহস্তে সমর্পিত হইবে।

26 আমি তোমাদের অন্নরূপ যষ্টি ভাঙ্গিলে দশ জন স্ত্রীলোক এক তুন্দুরে তোমাদের রুটী পাক করিবে, ও তোমাদের রুটী তৌল করিয়া তোমাদিগকে দিবে, কিন্তু তোমরা তাহা খাইয়া তৃপ্ত হইবে না।

27 আর এই সকলেতেও যদি তোমরা আমার কথা না শুন, আমার বিপরীত আচরণ কর,

28 তবে আমি ক্রোধে তোমাদের বিপরীত আচরণ করিব, এবং আমিই তোমাদের পাপপ্রযুক্ত তোমাদিগকে সাত গুণ শাস্তি দিব।

29 আর তোমরা আপন আপন পুত্রগণের মাংস ভোজন করিবে, ও আপন আপন কন্যাগণের মাংস ভোজন করিবে।

30 আর আমি তোমাদের উচ্চস্থল সকল ভগ্ন করিব, তোমাদের সূর্য্যপ্রতিমা সকল নষ্ট করিব, ও তোমাদের পুত্তলিকাদের শবের উপরে তোমাদের শব ফেলিয়া দিব; এবং আমার প্রাণ তোমাদিগকে ঘৃণা করিবে।

31 আর আমি তোমাদের নগর সকল উৎসন্ন করিব, তোমাদের ধর্ম্মধাম সকল ধ্বংস করিব, ও তোমাদের সৌরভের আঘ্রাণ লইব না।

32 আর আমি দেশ ধ্বংস করিব, ও তত্রবাসী তোমাদের শত্রুগণ তদ্বিষয়ে চমৎকৃত হইবে।

33 আর আমি তোমাদিগকে জাতিগণের মধ্যে ছিন্নভিন্ন করিব, ও তোমাদের পশ্চাতে খড়গ নিষ্কোষ করিব, তাহাতে তোমাদের দেশ সকল ধ্বংসস্থান ও তোমাদের নগর সকল উৎসন্ন হইবে।

34 তখন যত দিন দেশ ধ্বংসস্থান থাকিবে ও তোমরা শত্রুগণের দেশে বাস করিবে, তত দিন ভূমি স্বীয় বিশ্রামকাল ভোগ করিবে; তৎকালে ভূমি বিশ্রাম পাইবে, ও স্বীয় বিশ্রামকাল ভোগ করিবে।

35 যত কাল দেশ ধ্বংসস্থান হইয়া থাকিবে, তত কাল বিশ্রাম করিবে; কেননা যখন তোমরা দেশে বাস করিতে, তখন দেশ তোমাদের বিশ্রামকালে বিশ্রাম ভোগ করিত না।

36 আর তোমাদের মধ্যে যাহারা অবশিষ্ট থাকিবে, আমি শত্রুদেশে তাহাদের হৃদয়ে বিষণ্ণতা প্রেরণ করিব, এবং চালিত পত্রের শব্দ তাহাদিগকে তাড়াইয়া লইয়া যাইবে; লোকে যেমন খড়েগর মুখ হইতে পলায়, তাহারা তদ্রূপ পলাইবে, এবং কেহ না তাড়াইলেও পতিত হইবে।

37 কেহ না তাড়াইলেও তাহারা যেমন খড়েগর সম্মুখে, তেমনি এক জন অন্যের উপরে পতিত হইবে; এবং শত্রুদের সম্মুখে দাঁড়াইতে তোমাদের ক্ষমতা হইবে না।

38 আর তোমরা জাতিগণের মধ্যে বিনষ্ট হইবে, ও তোমাদের শত্রুদের দেশ তোমাদিগকে গ্রাস করিবে।

39 আর তোমাদের মধ্যে যাহারা অবশিষ্ট থাকিবে, তাহারা আপন আপন অপরাধে শত্রুদেশে ক্ষয় পাইবে; এবং আপনাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরও অপরাধে তাহাদের সহিত ক্ষয় পাইবে।

40 আর তাহাদিগকে স্বীকার করিতে হইবে যে, আমার বিরুদ্ধে সত্যলঙ্ঘন এবং আমার বিপরীত আচরণ করাতে তাহাদের অপরাধ ও তাহাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের অপরাধ হইয়াছে,

41 এবং আমিও তাহাদের বিপরীত আচরণ করিয়াছি, আর তাহাদিগকে শত্রুদেশে আনিয়াছি। তখন যদি তাহাদের অচ্ছিন্নত্বক হৃদয় নম্র হয়, ও তাহারা আপন আপন অপরাধের দণ্ড গ্রাহ্য করে,

42 তবে আমি যাকোবের সহিত কৃত আমার নিয়ম স্মরণ করিব, এবং ইস্‌হাকের সহিত কৃত আমার নিয়ম ও অব্রাহামের সহিত কৃত আমার নিয়মও স্মরণ করিব, আর দেশকেও স্মরণ করিব।

43 দেশও তাহাদের কর্ত্তৃত্ব পরিত্যক্ত থাকিবে, ও তাহাদের অবর্ত্তমানে ধ্বংসস্থান হইয়া আপন বিশ্রাম ভোগ করিবে, এবং তাহারা আপনাদের অপরাধের দণ্ড গ্রাহ্য করিবে; কারণ এই যে, তাহারা আমার শাসন অগ্রাহ্য করিত ও তাহাদের প্রাণ আমার বিধি ঘৃণা করিত।

44 তথাপি যখন তাহারা শত্রুদের দেশে থাকিবে, তখন আমি নিঃশেষে বিনাশ জন্য কিম্বা তাহাদের সহিত আমার নিয়ম ভঙ্গ করণার্থে তাহাদিগকে অগ্রাহ্য করিব না, এবং ঘৃণাও করিব না; কেননা আমি সদাপ্রভু তাহাদের ঈশ্বর।

45 আর আমি তাহাদের ঈশ্বর হইবার জন্য যাহাদিগকে জাতিগণের সাক্ষাতে মিসর দেশ হইতে বাহির করিয়া আনিয়াছি, তাহাদের সেই পিতৃপুরুষদের সহিত কৃত আমার নিয়ম তাহাদের জন্য স্মরণ করিব; আমি সদাপ্রভু।

46 সীনয় পর্ব্বতে সদাপ্রভু মোশির-হস্ত দ্বারা আপনার ও ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানগেণর মধ্যে এই সকল বিধি, শাসন ও ব্যবস্থা স্থির করিলেন।

1 Ye shall make ^H6213 you no ^H3808 idols ^H457 nor graven image, ^H6459 neither ^H3808 rear you up ^H6965 a standing image, ^H4676 neither ^H3808 shall ye set up ^H5414 any image ^H4906 of stone ^H68 in your land, ^H776 to bow down ^H7812 unto ^H5921 it: for ^H3588 I ^H589 am the LORD ^H3068 your God. ^H430

2 Ye shall keep ^H8104 ^H853 my sabbaths, ^H7676 and reverence ^H3372 my sanctuary: ^H4720 I ^H589 am the LORD. ^H3068

3 If ^H518 ye walk ^H1980 in my statutes, ^H2708 and keep ^H8104 my commandments, ^H4687 and do ^H6213 them;

4 Then I will give ^H5414 you rain ^H1653 in due season, ^H6256 and the land ^H776 shall yield ^H5414 her increase, ^H2981 and the trees ^H6086 of the field ^H7704 shall yield ^H5414 their fruit. ^H6529

5 And your threshing ^H1786 shall reach ^H5381 ^H853 unto the vintage, ^H1210 and the vintage ^H1210 shall reach ^H5381 ^H853 unto the sowing time: ^H2233 and ye shall eat ^H398 your bread ^H3899 to the full, ^H7648 and dwell ^H3427 in your land ^H776 safely. ^H983

8 And five ^H2568 of ^H4480 you shall chase ^H7291 a hundred, ^H3967 and a hundred ^H3967 of ^H4480 you shall put ten thousand to flight ^H7291 ^H7233 : and your enemies ^H341 shall fall ^H5307 before ^H6440 you by the sword. ^H2719

17 And I will set ^H5414 my face ^H6440 against you , and ye shall be slain ^H5062 before ^H6440 your enemies: ^H341 they that hate ^H8130 you shall reign ^H7287 over you ; and ye shall flee ^H5127 when none ^H369 pursueth ^H7291 you.

18 And if ^H518 ye will not ^H3808 yet for ^H5704 all this ^H428 hearken ^H8085 unto me , then I will punish ^H3256 you seven times ^H7651 more ^H3254 for ^H5921 your sins. ^H2403

19 And I will break ^H7665 ^H853 the pride ^H1347 of your power; ^H5797 and I will make ^H5414 ^H853 your heaven ^H8064 as iron, ^H1270 and your earth ^H776 as brass: ^H5154

20 And your strength ^H3581 shall be spent ^H8552 in vain: ^H7385 for your land ^H776 shall not ^H3808 yield ^H5414 ^H853 her increase, ^H2981 neither ^H3808 shall the trees ^H6086 of the land ^H776 yield ^H5414 their fruits. ^H6529

21 And if ^H518 ye walk ^H1980 contrary ^H7147 unto ^H5973 me , and will ^H14 not ^H3808 hearken ^H8085 unto me ; I will bring seven times more ^H3254 ^H7651 plagues ^H4347 upon ^H5921 you according to your sins. ^H2403

22 I will also send ^H7971 ^H853 wild ^H7704 beasts ^H2416 among you , which shall rob you of your children ^H7921 ^H853 , and destroy ^H3772 ^H853 your cattle, ^H929 and make you few in number ^H4591 ^H853 ; and your high ways ^H1870 shall be desolate. ^H8074

23 And if ^H518 ye will not ^H3808 be reformed ^H3256 by me by these things, ^H428 but will walk ^H1980 contrary ^H7147 unto ^H5973 me;

24 Then will I ^H589 also ^H637 walk ^H1980 contrary ^H7147 unto ^H5973 you , and will punish ^H5221 you yet ^H1571 seven times ^H7651 for ^H5921 your sins. ^H2403

25 And I will bring ^H935 a sword ^H2719 upon ^H5921 you , that shall avenge ^H5358 the quarrel ^H5359 of my covenant: ^H1285 and when ye are gathered together ^H622 within ^H413 your cities, ^H5892 I will send ^H7971 the pestilence ^H1698 among ^H8432 you ; and ye shall be delivered ^H5414 into the hand ^H3027 of the enemy. ^H341

26 And when I have broken ^H7665 the staff ^H4294 of your bread, ^H3899 ten ^H6235 women ^H802 shall bake ^H644 your bread ^H3899 in one ^H259 oven, ^H8574 and they shall deliver you your bread again ^H7725 ^H3899 by weight: ^H4948 and ye shall eat, ^H398 and not ^H3808 be satisfied. ^H7646

27 And if ^H518 ye will not ^H3808 for all this ^H2063 hearken ^H8085 unto me , but walk ^H1980 contrary ^H7147 unto ^H5973 me;

28 Then I will walk ^H1980 contrary ^H7147 unto ^H5973 you also in fury; ^H2534 and I, even ^H637 I, ^H589 will chastise ^H3256 you seven times ^H7651 for ^H5921 your sins. ^H2403

29 And ye shall eat ^H398 the flesh ^H1320 of your sons, ^H1121 and the flesh ^H1320 of your daughters ^H1323 shall ye eat. ^H398

30 And I will destroy ^H8045 ^H853 your high places, ^H1116 and cut down ^H3772 ^H853 your images, ^H2553 and cast ^H5414 ^H853 your carcasses ^H6297 upon ^H5921 the carcasses ^H6297 of your idols, ^H1544 and my soul ^H5315 shall abhor ^H1602 you.

31 And I will make ^H5414 ^H853 your cities ^H5892 waste, ^H2723 and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation ^H8074 ^H853 ^H4720 , and I will not ^H3808 smell ^H7306 the savor ^H7381 of your sweet odors. ^H5207

32 And I ^H589 will bring the land into desolation ^H8074 ^H853 ^H776 : and your enemies ^H341 which dwell ^H3427 therein shall be astonished ^H8074 at ^H5921 it.

33 And I will scatter ^H2219 you among the heathen, ^H1471 and will draw out ^H7324 a sword ^H2719 after ^H310 you : and your land ^H776 shall be ^H1961 desolate, ^H8077 and your cities ^H5892 waste. ^H2723

34 Then ^H227 shall the land ^H776 enjoy ^H7521 ^H853 her sabbaths, ^H7676 as long as ^H3605 ^H3117 it lieth desolate, ^H8074 and ye ^H859 be in your enemies' ^H341 land; ^H776 even then ^H227 shall the land ^H776 rest, ^H7673 and enjoy ^H7521 ^H853 her sabbaths. ^H7676

35 As long as ^H3605 ^H3117 it lieth desolate ^H8074 it shall rest; ^H7673 ^H853 because ^H834 it did not ^H3808 rest ^H7673 in your sabbaths, ^H7676 when ye dwelt ^H3427 upon ^H5921 it.

36 And upon them that are left ^H7604 alive of you I will send ^H935 a faintness ^H4816 into their hearts ^H3824 in the lands ^H776 of their enemies; ^H341 and the sound ^H6963 of a shaken ^H5086 leaf ^H5929 shall chase ^H7291 them ; and they shall flee, ^H5127 as fleeing ^H4499 from a sword; ^H2719 and they shall fall ^H5307 when none ^H369 pursueth. ^H7291

37 And they shall fall ^H3782 one ^H376 upon another, ^H251 as it were before ^H4480 ^H6440 a sword, ^H2719 when none ^H369 pursueth: ^H7291 and ye shall have ^H1961 no ^H3808 power to stand ^H8617 before ^H6440 your enemies. ^H341

38 And ye shall perish ^H6 among the heathen, ^H1471 and the land ^H776 of your enemies ^H341 shall eat you up ^H398 ^H853 .

39 And they that are left ^H7604 of you shall pine away ^H4743 in their iniquity ^H5771 in your enemies' ^H341 lands; ^H776 and also ^H637 in the iniquities ^H5771 of their fathers ^H1 shall they pine away ^H4743 with ^H854 them.

40 If they shall confess ^H3034 ^H853 their iniquity, ^H5771 and the iniquity ^H5771 of their fathers, ^H1 with their trespass ^H4604 which ^H834 they trespassed ^H4603 against me , and that ^H834 also ^H637 they have walked ^H1980 contrary ^H7147 unto ^H5973 me;

41 And that I ^H589 also ^H637 have walked ^H1980 contrary ^H7147 unto ^H5973 them , and have brought ^H935 them into the land ^H776 of their enemies; ^H341 if ^H176 then ^H227 their uncircumcised ^H6189 hearts ^H3824 be humbled, ^H3665 and they then ^H227 accept ^H7521 of ^H853 the punishment of their iniquity: ^H5771

42 Then will I remember ^H2142 ^H853 my covenant ^H1285 with Jacob, ^H3290 and also ^H637 ^H853 my covenant ^H1285 with Isaac, ^H3327 and also ^H637 ^H853 my covenant ^H1285 with Abraham ^H85 will I remember; ^H2142 and I will remember ^H2142 the land. ^H776

43 The land ^H776 also shall be left ^H5800 of ^H4480 them , and shall enjoy ^H7521 ^H853 her sabbaths, ^H7676 while she lieth desolate ^H8074 without ^H4480 them : and they ^H1992 shall accept ^H7521 ^H853 of the punishment of their iniquity: ^H5771 because, ^H3282 even because ^H3282 they despised ^H3988 my judgments, ^H4941 and because their soul ^H5315 abhorred ^H1602 my statutes. ^H2708
