1 1 সেই দিন যীশু গৃহ হইতে বাহির হইয়া গিয়া সমুদ্রের কূলে বসিলেন।
2 আর বিস্তর লোক তাঁহার নিকটে সমাগত হইল, তাহাতে তিনি একখানি নৌকায় উঠিয়া বসিলেন, এবং সমস্ত লোক তীরে দাঁড়াইয়া রহিল।
3 তখন তিনি দৃষ্টান্ত দ্বারা তাহাদিগকে অনেক কথা কহিতে লাগিলেন।
4 তিনি কহিলেন, দেখ, বীজবাপক বীজ বপন করিতে গেল। বপনের সময় কতক বীজ পথের পার্শ্বে পড়িল, তাহাতে পক্ষীরা আসিয়া তাহা খাইয়া ফেলিল।
5 আর কতক বীজ পাষাণময় ভূমিতে পড়িল, যেখানে অধিক মৃত্তিকা ছিল না, তাহাতে অধিক মৃত্তিকা না পাওয়াতে তাহা শীঘ্র অঙ্কুরিত হইয়া উঠিল,
6 কিন্তু সূর্য্য উঠিলে পর পুড়িয়া গেল, এবং তাহার মূল না থাকাতে শুকাইয়া গেল।
7 আর কতক বীজ কাঁটাবনে পড়িল, তাহাতে কাঁটাগাছ বাড়িয়া তাহা চাপিয়া রাখিল।
8 আর কতক বীজ উত্তম ভূমিতে পড়িল ও ফল দিতে লাগিল; কতক শত গুণ, কতক ষাট গুণ, ও কতক ত্রিশ গুণ।
9 যাহার কাণ থাকে, সে শুনুক।
10 পরে শিষ্যেরা নিকটে আসিয়া তাঁহাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করিলেন, আপনি কি জন্য দৃষ্টান্ত দ্বারা উহাদের নিকটে কথা কহিতেছেন?
11 তিনি উত্তর করিয়া কহিলেন, স্বর্গ-রাজ্যের নিগূঢ় তত্ত্ব সকল তোমাদিগকে জানিতে দেওয়া হইয়াছে, কিন্তু তাহাদিগকে দেওয়া হয় নাই।
12 কেননা যাহার আছে, তাহাকে দেওয়া যাইবে, ও তাহার বাহুল্য হইবে; কিন্তু যাহার নাই, তাহার যাহা আছে, তাহাও তাহার নিকট হইতে লওয়া যাইবে।
13 এই জন্য আমি তাহাদিগকে দৃষ্টান্ত দ্বারা কথা বলিতেছি, কারণ তাহারা দেখিয়াও দেখে না, শুনিয়াও শুনে না, এবং বুঝেও না।
14 আর তাহাদের সম্বন্ধে যিশাইয়ের এই ভাববাণী পূর্ণ হইতেছে, “তোমরা শ্রবণে শুনিবে, কিন্তু কোন মতে বুঝিবে না; আর দৃষ্টিতে দেখিবে, কিন্তু কোন মতে জানিবে না;
15 কেননা এই লোকদের হৃদয় অসাড় হইয়াছে, শুনিতে তাহাদের কর্ণ ভারী হইয়াছে, ও তাহারা চক্ষু মুদ্রিত করিয়াছে, পাছে তাহারা চক্ষে দেখে, আর কর্ণে শুনে, হৃদয়ে বুঝে, এবং ফিরিয়া আইসে, আর আমি তাহাদিগকে সুস্থ করি।”
16 কিন্তু ধন্য তোমাদের চক্ষু, কেননা তাহা দেখে, এবং তোমাদের কর্ণ,
17 কেননা তাহা শুনে; কারণ আমি তোমাদিগকে সত্য বলিতেছি, তোমরা যাহা যাহা দেখিতেছ, তাহা অনেক ভাববাদী ও ধার্ম্মিক লোক দেখিতে বাঞ্ছা করিয়াও দেখিতে পান নাই; এবং তোমরা যাহা যাহা শুনিতেছ, তাহা তাঁহারা শুনিতে বাঞ্ছা করিয়াও শুনিতে পান নাই।
18 অতএব তোমরা বীজবাপকের দৃষ্টান্ত শুন।
19 যখন কেহ সেই রাজ্যের বাক্য শুনিয়া না বুঝে, তখন সেই পাপাত্মা আসিয়া, তাহার হৃদয়ে যাহা বপন করা হইয়াছিল, তাহা হরণ করিয়া লয়; এ সেই, যে পথের পার্শ্বে উপ্ত।
20 আর যে পাষাণময় ভূমিতে উপ্ত, এ সেই, যে সেই বাক্য শুনিয়া অমনি আনন্দপূর্ব্বক গ্রহণ করে, কিন্তু তাহার অন্তরে মূল নাই, সে অল্প কালমাত্র স্থির থাকে;
21 পরে সেই বাক্য হেতু ক্লেশ কিম্বা তাড়না ঘটিলে সে অমনি বিঘ্ন পায়।
22 আর যে কাঁটাবনের মধ্যে উপ্ত, এ সেই, যে সেই বাক্য শুনে, আর সংসারের চিন্তা ও ধনের মায়া সেই বাক্য চাপিয়া রাখে, তাহাতে সে ফলহীন হয়।
23 আর যে উত্তম ভূমিতে উপ্ত, এ সেই, যে সেই বাক্য শুনিয়া তাহা বুঝে, সে বাস্তবিক ফলবান, হয়, এবং কতক শত গুণ, কতক ষাট গুণ, ও কতক ত্রিশ গুণ ফল দেয়।
24 পরে তিনি তাহাদের কাছে আর এক দৃষ্টান্ত উপস্থিত করিলেন, কহিলেন, স্বর্গ-রাজ্যকে এমন এক ব্যক্তির সহিত তুলনা করা যায়, যিনি আপন ক্ষেত্রে ভাল বীজ বপন করিলেন।
25 কিন্তু লোকে নিদ্রা গেলে পর তাঁহার শত্রু আসিয়া ঐ গোমের মধ্যে শ্যামাঘাসের বীজ বপন করিয়া চলিয়া গেল।
26 পরে যখন বীজ অঙ্কুরিত হইয়া ফল দিল, তখন শ্যামাঘাসও প্রকাশ হইয়া পড়িল।
27 তাহাতে সেই গৃহকর্ত্তার দাসেরা আসিয়া তাঁহাকে কহিল, মহাশয়, আপনি কি নিজ ক্ষেত্রে ভাল বীজ বুনেন নাই? তবে শ্যামাঘাস কোথা হইতে হইল?
28 তিনি তাহাদিগকে কহিলেন, কোন শত্রু ইহা করিয়াছে। দাসেরা তাঁহাকে কহিল, তবে আপনি কি এমন ইচ্ছা করেন যে, আমরা গিয়া তাহা সংগ্রহ করি?
29 তিনি কহিলেন, না, কি জানি, শ্যামাঘাস সংগ্রহ করিবার সময়ে তোমরা তাহার সহিত গোমও উপড়াইয়া ফেলিবে।
30 শস্যচ্ছেদনের সময় পর্য্যন্ত উভয়কে একত্র বাড়িতে দেও। পরে ছেদনের সময়ে আমি ছেদকদিগকে বলিব, তোমরা প্রথমে শ্যামাঘাস সংগ্রহ করিয়া পোড়াইবার জন্য বোঝা বোঝা বাঁধিয়া রাখ, কিন্তু গোম আমার গোলায় সংগ্রহ কর।
31 তিনি আর এক দৃষ্টান্ত তাহাদের কাছে উপস্থিত করিলেন, কহিলেন, স্বর্গ-রাজ্য এমন একটী সরিষা-দানার তুল্য, যাহা কোন ব্যক্তি লইয়া আপন ক্ষেত্রে বপন করিল।
32 সকল বীজের মধ্যে ঐ বীজ অতি ক্ষুদ্র; কিন্তু বাড়িয়া উঠিলে পর তাহা শাক হইতে বড় হয়, এবং এমন বৃক্ষ হইয়া উঠে যে, আকাশের পক্ষিগণ আসিয়া তাহার শাখায় বাস করে।
33 তিনি তাহাদিগকে আর এক দৃষ্টান্ত কহিলেন, স্বর্গ-রাজ্য এমন তাড়ীর তুল্য, যাহা কোন স্ত্রীলোক লইয়া তিন মাণ ময়দার মধ্যে ঢাকিয়া রাখিল, শেষে সমস্তই তাড়ীময় হইয়া উঠিল।
34 এই সমস্ত কথা যীশু দৃষ্টান্ত দ্বারা লোকসমূহকে কহিলেন, দৃষ্টান্ত ব্যতিরেকে তাহাদিগকে কিছুই কহিলেন না;
35 যেন ভাববাদীর দ্বারা কথিত এই বচন পূর্ণ হয়, “আমি দৃষ্টান্ত কথায় আপন মুখ খুলিব, জগতের পত্তনাবধি যাহা যাহা গুপ্ত আছে, সে সকল ব্যক্ত করিব।”
36 তখন তিনি লোকসমূহকে বিদায় করিয়া গৃহে আসিলেন। আর তাঁহার শিষ্যগণ নিকটে আসিয়া তাঁহাকে কহিলেন, ক্ষেত্রের শ্যামাঘাসের দৃষ্টান্তটী আমাদিগকে স্পষ্ট করিয়া বলুন।
37 তিনি উত্তর করিয়া কহিলেন, যিনি ভাল বীজ বপন করেন, তিনি মনুষ্যপুত্র।
38 ক্ষেত্র জগৎ; ভাল বীজ রাজ্যের সন্তানগণ; শ্যামাঘাস সেই পাপাত্মার সন্তানগণ;
39 যে শত্রু তাহা বুনিয়াছিল, সে দিয়াবল; ছেদনের সময় যুগান্ত; ছেদকেরা স্বর্গদূত।
40 অতএব যেমন শ্যামাঘাস সংগ্রহ করিয়া আগুনে পোড়াইয়া দেওয়া যায়, তেমনি যুগান্তে হইবে।
41 মনুষ্যপুত্র আপন দূতগণকে প্রেরণ করিবেন; তাঁহারা তাঁহার রাজ্য হইতে সমস্ত বিঘ্নজনক বিষয় ও অধর্ম্মাচারীদিগকে সংগ্রহ করিবেন,
42 এবং তাহাদিগকে অগ্নিকুণ্ডে ফেলিয়া দিবেন; সেই স্থানে রোদন ও দন্তঘর্ষণ হইবে।
43 তখন ধার্ম্মিকেরা আপনাদের পিতার রাজ্যে সূর্য্যের ন্যায় দেদীপ্যমান হইবে। যাহার কাণ থাকে, সে শুনুক।
44 স্বর্গ-রাজ্য ক্ষেত্রমধ্যে গুপ্ত এমন ধনের তুল্য, যাহা দেখিতে পাইয়া এক ব্যক্তি গোপন করিয়া রাখিল, পরে আনন্দ হেতু গিয়া সর্ব্বস্ব বিক্রয় করিয়া সেই ক্ষেত্র ক্রয় করিল।
45 আবার স্বর্গ-রাজ্য এমন এক বণিকের তুল্য, যে উত্তম উত্তম মুক্তা অন্বেষণ করিতেছিল,
46 সে একটী মহামূল্য মুক্তা দেখিতে পাইয়া গিয়া সর্ব্বস্ব বিক্রয় করিয়া তাহা ক্রয় করিল।
47 আবার স্বর্গ-রাজ্য এমন এক টানা জালের তুল্য, যাহা সমুদ্রে ফেলিয়া দেওয়া হইলে সর্ব্বপ্রকার মাছ সংগ্রহ করিল।
48 জালটা পরিপূর্ণ হইলে লোকে কূলে টানিয়া তুলিল, আর বসিয়া বসিয়া ভালগুলি সংগ্রহ করিয়া পাত্রে রাখিল, এবং মন্দগুলি ফেলিয়া দিল।
49 এইরূপ যুগান্তে হইবে; দূতগণ আসিয়া ধার্ম্মিকদের মধ্য হইতে দুষ্টদিগকে পৃথক্‌ করবেন,
50 এবং তাহাদিগকে অগ্নিকুণ্ডে ফেলিয়া দিবেন; সেই স্থানে রোদন ও দন্তঘর্ষণ হইবে।
51 তোমরা কি এ সকল বুঝিয়াছ? তাঁহারা কহিলেন, হাঁ।
52 তখন তিনি তাঁহাদিগকে কহিলেন, এই জন্য স্বর্গ-রাজ্যের সম্বন্ধে শিক্ষিত প্রত্যেক অধ্যাপক এমন গৃহকর্ত্তার তুল্য, যে আপন ভাণ্ডার হইতে নূতন ও পুরাতন দ্রব্য বাহির করে।
53 এই সকল দৃষ্টান্ত সমাপ্ত করিবার পর যীশু তথা হইতে চলিয়া গেলেন।
54 আর তিনি স্বদেশে আসিয়া লোকদের সমাজ-গৃহে তাহাদিগকে উপদেশ দিতে লাগিলেন, তাহাতে তাহারা চমৎকৃত হইয়া কহিল, ইহার এমন জ্ঞান ও এমন পরাক্রম-কার্য্য সকল কোথা হইতে হইল?
55 এ কি সূত্রধরের পুত্র নয়? ইহার মাতার নাম কি মরিয়ম নয়? এবং যাকোব, যোষেফ, শিমোন ও যিহূদা কি ইহার ভ্রাতা নয়?
56 আর ইহার ভগিনীরা কি সকলে আমাদের এখানে নাই? তবে এ কোথা হইতে এই সমস্ত পাইল? এইরূপে তাহারা তাঁহাতে বিঘ্ন পাইতে লাগিল।
57 কিন্তু যীশু তাহাদিগকে কহিলেন, আপনার দেশ ও কুল ছাড়া আর কোথাও ভাববাদী অনাদৃত হন না।
58 আর তাহাদের অবিশ্বাস প্রযুক্ত তিনি সেখানে বিস্তর পরাক্রম-কার্য্য করিলেন না।
