3. “மேட்டிமையாகப் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டாம்.
உனது வாய் அகங்காரமானதைப் பேசாதிருக்கட்டும்;
யெகோவாவே எல்லாம் அறிந்த இறைவன்;
அவர் செயல்களைச் சீர்தூக்கிப் பார்க்கிறார்.

ஆனால் அநேக மகன்களைப் பெற்றவளோ நலிந்துபோனாள்.

14. பணியாளன் இறைச்சி வேகும் சட்டியிலோ, கிண்ணத்திலோ, அண்டாவிலோ, பானையிலோ அந்த கரண்டியை உள்ளேவிட்டுக் குத்துவான். அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அந்த கரண்டியால் குத்தி எடுப்பது எதுவோ அதைத் தனக்கென எடுத்துக்கொள்வான். இவ்விதமாக சீலோவுக்கு வருகிற இஸ்ரயேலர் எல்லோரையும் அவர்கள் இப்படியே நடத்தினார்கள்.

30. “எனவே இஸ்ரயேலின் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறதாவது, ‘உன் குடும்பத்தாரும், உன் தகப்பன் குடும்பத்தாரும் என்றென்றைக்கும் என் முன்னிலையில் எனக்குப் பணிசெய்வீர்கள்’ என்று வாக்குப்பண்ணினேன்; ஆனால் இப்பொழுது யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறதாவது: நான் முன் சொன்னபடியே இது நடக்காது! என்னைக் கனம்பண்ணுகிறவர்களை நான் கனம்பண்ணுவேன். என்னை அவமதிக்கிறவர்கள் வெறுக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

32. அப்பொழுது என் உறைவிடத்தில் நீ துன்பத்தைக் காண்பாய். இஸ்ரயேலருக்கு நன்மை செய்யப்பட்டாலும், உன் குடும்பத்தில் முதியவன் ஒருவனும் ஒருபோதும் இருக்கமாட்டான்.

32. And thou shalt see H5027 an enemy H6862 in my habitation H4583 , in all H3605 the wealth which H834 God shall give H3190 H853 Israel H3478 : and there shall not H3808 be H1961 an old man H2205 in thine house H1004 forever H3605 H3117 .

35. And I will raise me up H6965 a faithful H539 priest H3548 , that shall do H6213 according to that which H834 is in mine heart H3824 and in my mind H5315 : and I will build H1129 him a sure H539 house H1004 ; and he shall walk H1980 before H6440 mine anointed H4899 forever H3605 H3117 .

36. அப்பொழுது உன் வழித்தோன்றலில் மீதியாயிருப்பவன் ஒவ்வொருவனும் அவன் முன்வந்து பணிந்து ஒரு வெள்ளிக் காசுக்காகவும், ஒரு துண்டு அப்பத்துக்காகவும் கெஞ்சி, “நான் சாப்பிடுவதற்கு உணவு கிடைக்கும்படி ஆசாரியனுக்குரிய ஏதாவது ஒரு பணியை எனக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்” என்று கேட்பான்’ என்றான்.” PE
