3. “மனுபுத்திரனே, இந்த மனிதர் தங்கள் இருதயங்களில் விக்கிரகங்களை வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். தங்களை அக்கிரமத்திற்கு வழிநடத்தும் காரியங்களைத் தங்கள் கண்முன் வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். இப்படியானவர்கள் என்னிடம் விசாரணை செய்ய நான் இடமளிக்க வேண்டுமோ?

3. Son H1121 of man H120 , these H428 men H376 have set up H5927 their idols H1544 in H5921 their heart H3820 , and put H5414 the stumblingblock H4383 of their iniquity H5771 before H5227 their face H6440 : should I be inquired of at all H1875 H1875 by them?

4. ஆகையால் நீ அவர்களோடு பேசிச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: எந்தவொரு இஸ்ரயேலனாவது, தன் இருதயத்தில் விக்கிரகங்களை வைத்துக்கொண்டவனாய், தங்களை அக்கிரமத்திற்கு வழிநடத்தும் காரியங்களைத் தங்கள் கண்முன் வைத்துக்கொண்டு இறைவாக்கினன் ஒருவனிடம்போனால், யெகோவாவாகிய நான் அவனுடைய பெரும் விக்கிரக ஆராதனைக்கு ஏற்பவே பதிலளிப்பேன்.

6. “ஆதலால் நீ இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்தாரிடம் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது: ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. மனந்திரும்புங்கள்; உங்கள் விக்கிரங்களை விட்டுத் திரும்புங்கள். எல்லா அருவருப்பான பழக்கவழக்கங்களைவிட்டு உங்கள் முகத்தைத் திருப்புங்கள். PEPS

7. “ ‘இஸ்ரயேலனாவது, இஸ்ரயேல் நாட்டில் வாழும் பிறநாட்டானாவது என்னைவிட்டுப் பிரிந்து, தன் இருதயத்தில் விக்கிரகங்களை வைத்துக்கொண்டும், தங்களை அக்கிரமத்திற்கு வழிநடத்தும் காரியங்களைத் தங்கள் முன் வைத்துக்கொண்டும் என்னிடம் விசாரிப்பதற்காக இறைவாக்கினரிடம் போவானானால், யெகோவாவாகிய நானே அவனுக்குப் பதிலளிப்பேன்.

9. “ ‘ஆனால் அப்படி ஆலோசனை கேட்கும்போது தீர்க்கதரிசி ஒருவன் ஏமாந்து, பொய்த் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்வதற்குத் துணிவுகொண்டால், யெகோவாவாகிய நானே அவனை அவ்வாறான துணிகரத்திற்குட்படுத்தினேன். அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக என் கரத்தை நீட்டி, இஸ்ரயேல் மக்கள் மத்தியிலிருந்து அவனை அழிப்பேன்.

And if H3588 the prophet H5030 be deceived H6601 when he hath spoken H1696 a thing H1697 , I H589 the LORD H3068 have deceived H6601 H853 that H1931 prophet H5030 , and I will stretch out H5186 H853 my hand H3027 upon H5921 him , and will destroy H8045 him from the midst H4480 H8432 of my people H5971 Israel H3478 .

10. அவர்கள் தங்கள் குற்றத்தைச் சுமப்பார்கள். தீர்க்கதரிசி குற்றவாளியாயிருப்பது போலவே, அவனிடம் ஆலோசனை கேட்க வந்தவனும் குற்றவாளி. ஆகவே நான் அவர்களைத் தண்டிப்பேன்.

10. And they shall bear H5375 the punishment of their iniquity H5771 : the punishment H5771 of the prophet H5030 shall be H1961 even as the punishment H5771 of him that seeketh H1875 unto him ;

11. அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரயேல் மக்கள் இனியொருபோதும் என்னைவிட்டு வழிதவறிப் போகமாட்டார்கள். பாவங்களினால் தங்களைக் கறைப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளவும் மாட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் என் மக்களாயிருப்பார்கள். நான் அவர்களின் இறைவனாயிருப்பேன் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்’ ” என்றார். PS

13. “மனுபுத்திரனே, ஒரு நாடு எனக்கெதிராய் பாவம் செய்து உண்மையற்றதாய் இருந்தால், நான் அதற்கு விரோதமாக என் கரத்தை நீட்டுவேன். அதற்கு உணவளிப்பதை நிறுத்தி, பஞ்சத்தை அனுப்பி அதன் மக்களையும் அவர்களுடைய மிருகங்களையும் கொல்லுவேன்.

Son H1121 of man H120 , when H3588 the land H776 sinneth H2398 against me by trespassing H4603 grievously H4604 , then will I stretch out H5186 mine hand H3027 upon H5921 it , and will break H7665 the staff H4294 of the bread H3899 thereof , and will send H7971 famine H7458 upon it , and will cut off H3772 man H120 and beast H929 from H4480 it:

14. அப்பொழுது அங்கே நோவா, தானியேல், யோபு ஆகிய மூவரும் இருந்தாலுங்கூட, அவர்கள் தங்கள் நீதியின் நிமித்தம் தங்களை மட்டுமே தப்புவித்துக்கொள்ளக்கூடும் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார். PEPS

14. Though these H428 three H7969 men H376 , Noah H5146 , Daniel H1840 , and Job H347 , were H1961 in H8432 it, they H1992 should deliver H5337 but their own souls H5315 by their righteousness H6666 , saith H5002 the Lord H136 GOD H3069 .

16. நான் வாழ்வது நிச்சயம்போலவே, அங்கு அவ்வேளையில் இவர்கள் மூவரும் இருந்தாலுங்கூட, அவர்களால் தம் சொந்த மகன்களையோ மகள்களையோ தப்புவிக்கவும் முடியாது. அவர்கள் மாத்திரமே தப்புவார்கள். ஆனால் நாடோ பாழாய்ப்போகும் என்பதும் நிச்சயம் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார். PEPS

16. Though these H428 three H7969 men H376 were in H8432 it, as I H589 live H2416 , saith H5002 the Lord H136 GOD H3069 , they H1992 shall deliver H5337 neither H518 sons H1121 nor H518 daughters H1323 ; they only H905 shall be delivered H5337 , but the land H776 shall be H1961 desolate H8077 .

17. “இல்லையெனில், நான் அந்நாட்டிற்கு எதிராக வாளை வரச்செய்து, ‘வாள் நாட்டை ஊடுருவிச் செல்லட்டும்’ என்று சொல்வேனாகில், நான் அங்குள்ள மக்களையும் அவர்களுடைய மிருகங்களையும் கொல்லுவேன்.

17. Or H176 if I bring H935 a sword H2719 upon H5921 that H1931 land H776 , and say H559 , Sword H2719 , go H5674 through the land H776 ; so that I cut off H3772 man H120 and beast H929 from H4480 it:

19. “இல்லையெனில், நான் அந்நாட்டில் கொள்ளைநோயை அனுப்பி, நான் எனது கோபத்தினால் இரத்தம் சிந்தப்பண்ணி, அங்குள்ள மனிதரையும், அவர்களுடைய மிருகங்களையும் கொலைசெய்வேனாகில்,

19. Or H176 if I send H7971 a pestilence H1698 into H413 that H1931 land H776 , and pour out H8210 my fury H2534 upon H5921 it in blood H1818 , to cut off H3772 from H4480 it man H120 and beast H929 :

20. நான் வாழ்வது நிச்சயம்போலவே, நோவா, தானியேல், யோபு ஆகிய அந்த மூவரும் அங்கிருந்தாலுங்கூட, அவர்களால் தங்கள் மகனையோ மகளையோ தப்புவிக்கவும் முடியாது. தங்கள் நீதியினால் அவர்கள் மட்டுமே தப்புவார்கள் என்பதும் நிச்சயம் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார். PEPS

21. “ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. நான் எருசலேமுக்கு விரோதமாக மனிதரையும் அவர்களுடைய மிருகங்களையும் கொல்லுவதற்கு வாள், பஞ்சம், காட்டுமிருகம், கொள்ளைநோய் ஆகிய நான்கு பயங்கரத் தீர்ப்புகளையும் அனுப்பும்போது, அவைகளிலும் இது எவ்வளவு அதிக கொடியதாயிருக்கும்!

21. For H3588 thus H3541 saith H559 the Lord H136 GOD H3069 ; How much more H637 when H3588 I send H7971 my four H702 sore H7451 judgments H8201 upon H413 Jerusalem H3389 , the sword H2719 , and the famine H7458 , and the noisome H7451 beast H2416 , and the pestilence H1698 , to cut off H3772 from H4480 it man H120 and beast H929 ?

22. அப்படியிருந்தும், அங்கிருந்து தப்பிப்பிழைத்த சில மகன்களும், மகள்களும், வெளியே கொண்டுவரப்படுவார்கள். அவர்கள் பாபிலோனுக்கு நாடுகடத்தப்பட்டு உங்களிடத்திற்கே வருவார்கள். அவர்களுடைய ஒழுக்கக்கேட்டையும் அவர்களுடைய நடத்தையையும் நீங்கள் காணும்போது எருசலேமின்மீது நான் வரப்பண்ணின தீங்கையும், அதன்மீது வரப்பண்ணின ஒவ்வொரு அழிவையும் குறித்து ஆறுதல் அடைவீர்கள்.

Yet, behold H2009 , therein shall be left H3498 a remnant H6413 that shall be brought forth H3318 , both sons H1121 and daughters H1323 : behold H2009 , they shall come forth H3318 unto H413 you , and ye shall see H7200 H853 their way H1870 and their doings H5949 : and ye shall be comforted H5162 concerning H5921 the evil H7451 that H834 I have brought H935 upon H5921 Jerusalem H3389 , even concerning H854 all H3605 that H834 I have brought H935 upon H5921 it.

23. And they shall comfort H5162 you, when H3588 ye see H7200 H853 their ways H1870 and their doings H5949 : and ye shall know H3045 that H3588 I have not H3808 done H6213 without cause H2600 H853 all H3605 that H834 I have done H6213 in it, saith H5002 the Lord H136 GOD H3069 .
