24. ஆகையால் நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், உங்கள் மன்றாட்டில் நீங்கள் எதைக் கேட்கிறீர்களோ, அதைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டீர்கள் என்று விசுவாசியுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது அது உங்களுடையதாகும்.

24. Therefore G1223 G5124 I say G3004 unto you G5213 , What things soever G3956 G3745 G302 ye desire G154 , when ye pray G4336 , believe G4100 that G3754 ye receive G2983 them, and G2532 ye G5213 shall have G2071 them.

25. நீங்கள் நின்று மன்றாடும்போது, யாராவது உங்களுக்குப் பிழை செய்ததினால், அவருக்கு விரோதமாக உங்கள் மனதில் ஏதாவது கசப்பு வைத்திருந்தால், அவரை மன்னியுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற உங்கள் பிதாவுங்கூட உங்கள் பாவங்களை உங்களுக்கு மன்னிப்பார்.

25. And G2532 when G3752 ye stand G4739 praying G4336 , forgive G863 , if G1487 ye have G2192 aught G5100 against G2596 any G5100 : that G2443 your G5216 Father G3962 also G2532 which G3588 is in G1722 heaven G3772 may forgive G863 you G5213 your G5216 trespasses G3900 .

27. {இயேசுவின் அதிகாரத்தைக் குறித்துக் கேள்வி கேட்டல்} PS அவர்கள் மீண்டும் எருசலேமுக்கு வந்து சேர்ந்தார்கள். இயேசு ஆலய முற்றங்களில் நடந்துகொண்டிருக்கையில், தலைமை ஆசாரியர்களும், மோசேயின் சட்ட ஆசிரியர்களும், யூதரின் தலைவர்களும் அவரிடம் வந்தார்கள்.

29. அதற்கு இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “நானும் உங்களிடம் ஒரு கேள்வி கேட்கிறேன். அதற்குப் பதிலை எனக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள். அப்பொழுது எந்த அதிகாரத்தைக் கொண்டு நான் இவற்றைச் செய்கிறேன் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்வேன்.

30. யோவானின் திருமுழுக்கு பரலோகத்திலிருந்து வந்ததா அல்லது மனிதரிடமிருந்து வந்ததா? அதை எனக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்” என்றார். PEPS
