40. நன்றி செலுத்துவதற்கு அந்த இரண்டு பாடகர் குழுக்களும் இறைவனுடைய ஆலயத்தில் தங்கள் இடங்களில் நின்றார்கள்; நானும் என்னுடன் நின்ற அதிகாரிகளில் பாதிப் பேரும் அப்படியே செய்தோம்.

42. மாசெயா, செமாயா, எலெயாசார், ஊசி, யோகனான், மல்கியா, ஏலாம், ஏசேர் ஆகியோரும் நின்றார்கள். இந்தப் பாடகர் குழுக்கள் யெஷரகியாவின் தலைமையின்கீழ் பாடினார்கள்.

44. அந்நாட்களில் நன்கொடைகளுக்கும், முதற்பலன்களுக்கும், தசமபாகங்களுக்கும் உரிய களஞ்சியங்களுக்கு பொறுப்பாயிருக்கும்படி மனிதர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்கள். பட்டணத்தைச் சுற்றியுள்ள வயல்களிலிருந்து லேவியருக்கும் ஆசாரியருக்கும் கொடுக்கும்படி, மோசேயின் சட்டத்தில் கட்டளையிட்டிருந்தபடி பங்கைச் சேகரித்து களஞ்சியங்களுக்கு கொண்டுவர வேண்டியது அவர்களுடைய பொறுப்பாயிருந்தது. ஏனெனில் யூதா மக்கள் பணிசெய்யும் ஆசாரியர்களிலும், லேவியரிலும் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்தனர்.
