இறைவன் நல்லவராயிருக்கிறார்.

2. ஆனால் நானோ, என் கால்கள் சறுக்கி,
என் காலடிகள் இடறி விழப்போனேன்.

3. பெருமையுள்ளவர்களைக் குறித்துப் பொறாமை கொண்டேன்;
கொடியவர்களின் வளமான வாழ்வை நான் கண்டேன்.

4. அவர்களுக்கு சாகும்வரை வேதனைகளே இல்லை;
அவர்களுடைய உடல்கள் ஆரோக்கியமாகவும் பலமாகவும் இருக்கின்றன.

5. அவர்கள் சாதாரண மனிதர்களைப்போல துன்பப்படுவதில்லை;
மனிதருக்கு வரும் நோய்களினாலும் அவர்கள் பீடிக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

|
6. ஆதலால் பெருமை அவர்களுடைய கழுத்துச் சங்கிலியாய் இருக்கிறது;
அவர்கள் வன்முறையை உடையாகக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.

6. Therefore H3651 pride H1346 compasseth them about as a chain H6059 ; violence H2555 covereth H5848 them as a garment H7897 .

7. அவர்களுடைய இருதயம் கொழுப்பினால் புடைத்து அநியாயம் வெளியே வருகிறது;
அவர்கள் மனதிலிருந்து எழும் தீமையான எண்ணங்களுக்கு அளவேயில்லை.

8. அவர்கள் ஏளனம் செய்து, தீமையானதைப் பேசுகிறார்கள்;

9. அவர்களுடைய வாயின் வார்த்தைகள் வானமட்டும் எட்டுகிறது;
அவர்களுடைய நாவின் சொற்கள் பூமியெங்கும் சுற்றித்திரிகிறது.

10. ஆகையால் மக்களும் அவர்களிடமாய்த் திரும்பி,
அவர்களின் சொற்களைத் தண்ணீரைப்போல் குடிக்கிறார்கள்.

11. அவர்கள், “இறைவன் எப்படி அறிவார்?
மகா உன்னதமானவருக்கு இவற்றைப் பற்றிய அறிவு உண்டோ?” என்கிறார்கள்.

12. கொடியவர்கள் எப்பொழுதும் சிந்தனை அற்றவர்களாகவும்,
செல்வத்தினால் பெருகுகிறவர்களாகவும் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

12. Behold H2009 , these H428 are the ungodly H7563 , who prosper H7961 in the world H5769 ; they increase H7685 in riches H2428 .

13. உண்மையில், நான் வீணாகவே என் இருதயத்தைச் சுத்தமாக வைத்துக்கொண்டேன்;
வீணாகவே குற்றமற்றவனாய் என் கைகளைக் கழுவிக் கொண்டேன்.

13. Verily H389 I have cleansed H2135 my heart H3824 in vain H7385 , and washed H7364 my hands H3709 in innocency H5356 .

|
14. நாளெல்லாம் நான் பாதிக்கப்பட்டேன்;
காலைதோறும் நான் கண்டிக்கப்பட்டேன்.

14. For all H3605 the day H3117 long have I been H1961 plagued H5060 , and chastened H8433 every morning H1242 .

|
15. இவ்வாறு பேசியிருந்தால்,
நான் உமது பிள்ளைகளுக்கு துரோகம் செய்திருப்பேன்.

16. இவற்றையெல்லாம் விளங்கிக்கொள்ள நான் முயன்றபோது,
அது எனக்குக் கடினமாய் இருந்தது.

|

17. ஆனால் நான் இறைவனின் பரிசுத்த இடத்திற்குள் நுழைந்த பின்புதான்,
நான் அவர்களுடைய இறுதிமுடிவை அறிந்துகொண்டேன்.

18. நிச்சயமாகவே, நீர் அவர்களைச் சறுக்கலான நிலத்தில் நிறுத்துகிறீர்;
நீர் அவர்களை சேதமடைந்து போகவிடுகிறீர்.

18. Surely H389 thou didst set H7896 them in slippery places H2513 : thou castedst them down H5307 into destruction H4876 .

19. அவர்கள் சீக்கிரமாய் அழிந்துபோகிறார்கள்;
திடீரென வரும் பயங்கரங்களால் முழுமையாக அழிந்துபோகிறார்கள்!

19. How H349 are H1961 they brought into desolation H8047 , as in a moment H7281 ! they are utterly consumed H5486 H8552 with H4480 terrors H1091 .

20. விழித்தெழுகிறவனின் கனவு கலைவதுபோல்,
யெகோவாவே, நீர் எழும்பும்போது,
அவர்களை கற்பனைக் காட்சியென்று இகழ்வீர்.

20. As a dream H2472 when one awaketh H4480 H6974 ; so , O Lord H136 , when thou awakest H5782 , thou shalt despise H959 their image H6754 .

21. என் இருதயம் கசந்தது,
என் உள்ளம் குத்தப்பட்டது.
|

|
|
22. நான் ஒன்றும் அறியாத மூடனானேன்;
நான் உமக்கு முன்பாக விலங்கைப்போல நடந்துகொண்டேன்.

22. So foolish H1198 was I H589 , and ignorant H3808 H3045 : I was H1961 as a beast H929 before H5973 thee.
|
|
23. ஆனாலும், நான் எப்பொழுதும் உம்முடனே இருக்கிறேன்;
நீர் என் வலதுகையை பிடித்துக்கொள்கிறீர்.

23. Nevertheless I H589 am continually H8548 with H5973 thee : thou hast holden H270 me by my right H3225 hand H3027 .

|
24. நீர் உமது ஆலோசனையினால் எனக்கு வழிகாட்டுகிறீர்;
பின்பு நீர் என்னை உமது மகிமைக்குள் எடுத்துக்கொள்வீர்.

24. Thou shalt guide H5148 me with thy counsel H6098 , and afterward H310 receive H3947 me to glory H3519 .
|
|
25. பரலோகத்தில் உம்மையன்றி எனக்கு யார் உண்டு?
பூமியிலும் உம்மைத்தவிர எனக்கு வேறொரு விருப்பமில்லை.

25. Whom H4310 have I in heaven H8064 but thee ? and there is none H3808 upon earth H776 that I desire H2654 beside H5973 thee.

26. என் உடலும் உள்ளமும் சோர்ந்துபோயிற்று;
ஆனால் இறைவனே என்றென்றைக்கும் நீரே என் இருதயத்தின் பெலனும்
எனக்குரியவருமாய் இருக்கிறார்.

26. My flesh H7607 and my heart H3824 faileth H3615 : but God H430 is the strength H6697 of my heart H3824 , and my portion H2506 forever H5769 .

|
27. உம்மைவிட்டுத் தூரமாகிறவர்கள் அழிவார்கள்;
உமக்கு உண்மையற்றவர்களை நீர் தண்டிப்பீர்.

27. For H3588 , lo H2009 , they that are far H7369 from thee shall perish H6 : thou hast destroyed H6789 all H3605 them that go a whoring H2181 from H4480 thee.
|
|
28. ஆனால் என்னைப் பொறுத்தவரை, இறைவனுக்கு அருகில் இருப்பதே எனக்கு நலம்;
ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவாவை நான் என் புகலிடமாக்கிக் கொண்டேன்;
உமது செயல்களையெல்லாம் நான் விவரிப்பேன். PE
