1 देवा, माझ्यावर दया कर. दयाळू हो कारण माझा आत्मा तुझ्यावर भरंवसा ठेवतो. संकटे टळेपर्यंत मी तुझ्याकडे रक्षणासाठी आलो आहे.
2 मी सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वराकडे मदतीसाठी प्रार्थना करीत आहे आणि देव माझी पूर्णपणे काळजी घेत आहे.
3 तो स्वर्गातून मला मदत करतो आणि मला वाचवतो. मला त्रास देणाऱ्या लोकांचा तो पराभव करतो. देव त्याचे खरे प्रेम मला दाखवतो.
4 माझे जीवन संकटात आहे, माझ्याभोवती माझे शत्रू आहेत. ते माणसे खाणाऱ्या सिंहाप्रमाणे आहेत. त्यांचे दात भाल्याप्रमाणे आणि बाणाप्रमाणे तीक्ष्ण आहेत आणि त्यांची जीभ तलवारीसारखी धारदार आहे.
