ERVTE   “నన్నెందుకు ఇబ్బంది పెట్టావు? నన్నెందుకు పైకి రప్పించావు?” అన్నాడు సమూయేలు సౌలుతో. సౌలు, “నేను కష్టంలో వున్నాను. ఫిలిష్తీయులు నా మీదికి యుద్ధానికి వచ్చారు. దేవుడేమో నన్ను విడిచిపెట్టేసాడు. ఆయన నాకు ఇంకెంత మాత్రం జవాబు ఇవ్వటంలేదు. నాకు ఆయన స్వప్నంలోగాని, ప్రవక్తల ద్వారాగాని జవాబు ఇవ్వటం లేదు. అందుకే నేను నిన్ను పిలిపించాను. నా కర్తవ్యమేమిటో నీవు నాకు చెప్పాలి” అన్నాడు.
KNV   ಆಗ ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಸೌಲನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಏರಿ ಬರ ಮಾಡಿ ಯಾಕೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿದಿ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೌಲನು--ನಾನು ಬಹಳ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದನು. ಆತನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ವಾದರೂ ಸ್ವಪ್ನದ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾದರೂ ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಮಾಡ ಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆಸಿದೆನು ಅಂದನು.
ERVKN   ಸಮುವೇಲನು, “ನನಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆಯನ್ನೇಕೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆ? ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇಕೆ?” ಎಂದು ಸೌಲನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಸೌಲನು, “ನಾನು ತೊಂದರೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇನೆ! ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಡಲು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನೇ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ; ಆತನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಂದಾಗಲೀ ಕನಸುಗಳಿಂದಾಗಲೀ ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ ಕಾರಣವೇ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದೆನು. ನಾನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು!” ಎಂದನು.
