Amos 1:1 (RCTA) Old Roman Catholical Bible for Tamil Language

1 தேகுவே ஊரைச் சார்ந்த இடையர்களுள் ஒருவரான ஆமோஸ் என்பவர், யூதாவின் அரசனாகிய ஓசியா காலத்திலும், இஸ்ராயேலின் அரசனாகிய யோவாசின் மகன் யெரோபோவாமின் காலத்திலும், நில நடுக்கம் உண்டாவதற்கு இரண்டாண்டுகளுக்கு முன் இஸ்ராயேலைக் குறித்துக் கண்ட காட்சியின் வார்த்தைகளாவன.
2 அவர் கூறினார்: "சீயோனிலிருந்து ஆண்டவர் கர்ச்சனை செய்கிறார், யெருசலேமிலிருந்து தம் குரலை எழுப்புகிறார்; இடையர்களின் மேய்ச்சல் நிலங்கள் புலம்புகின்றன, கர்மேலின் கொடுமுடி உலர்கின்றது. "
3 ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே: "தமஸ்கு நகரம் பழிச்செயலுக்கு மேல் பழிச்செயல் செய்ததற்காக நாம் இட்ட தண்டனைத் தீர்ப்பை மாற்ற மாட்டோம்; அவர்கள் கலகாத்தை இருப்புருளையில் வைத்து ஆட்டினார்கள்.
4 ஆதலால் அசாயேல் வீட்டின் மேல் தீயனுப்புவோம், அது பெனாதாத்தின் அரண்மனைகளை அழித்து விடும்.
5 தமஸ்கின் தாழ்ப்பாளை முறித்திடுவோம்; பிக்காத்- ஆவேனில் அரியணை வீற்றிருப்பவனையும், பேத்தேதேனில் செங்கோல் தாங்கியிருப்பவனையும் ஒழிப்போம்; சீரியா நாட்டினர் கீருக்கு நாடுகடத்தப் படுவர்" என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர்.
6 ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே: "காசா பழிச்செயலுக்கு மேல் பழிச்செயல் செய்ததற்காக நாம் இட்ட தண்டனைத் தீர்பை மாற்ற மாட்டோம்; அவர்கள் மக்களினம் முழுவதையுமே ஏதோமுக்கு அடிமைகளாகக் கூட்டிப் போனார்கள்.
7 ஆதலால் காசாவின் கோட்டை மதில் மேல் தீயனுப்புவோம், அது அதனுடைய அரண்மனைகளை அழித்து விடும்;
8 ஆசோத்தில் வாழும் குடிமக்களையும், அஸ்கலோனில் செங்கோல் தாங்கியிருப்பவனையும் ஒழிப்போம்; அக்காரோன் மீது நம் கரத்தைத் திருப்புவோம், பிலிஸ்தியருள் எஞ்சினோரும் அழிந்திடுவர்" என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர்.
9 ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே: "தீர் நகரம் பழிச்செயலுக்கு மேல் பழிச்செயல் செய்ததற்காக நாம் இட்ட தண்டனைத் தீர்பை மாற்றமாட்டோம்; அவர்கள் மக்களினம் முழுவதையுமே ஏதோமுக்கு அடிமைகளாகக் கையளித்தார்கள், சகோதர உடன்படிக்கையை அவர்கள் நினைக்கவே இல்லை.
10 ஆதலால் தீரின் கோட்டை மதில் மேல் தீயனுப்புவோம்; அது அதனுடைய அரண்மனைகளை அழித்துவிடும்."
11 ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே: "ஏதோம் பழிச்செயலுக்கு மேல் பழிச்செயல் செய்ததற்காக நாம் இட்ட தண்டனைத் தீர்ப்பை மாற்றமாட்டோம்; இரக்கம் கொஞ்சமும் காட்டாமல் தன் சகோதரனையே வாளால் துன்புறுத்தினான்; தன் ஆத்திரத்தை அவன் அடக்கி வையாமல் என்றென்றும் தன் கோபத்தைக் காட்டி வந்தான்.
12 ஆதலால் தேமான் மேல் நாம் தீயனுப்புவோம், அது போஸ்ராவின் அரண்மனைகளை அழித்துவிடும்."
13 ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே: "அம்மோன் மக்கள் பழிச்செயலுக்கு மேல் பழிச்செயல் செய்ததற்காக நாம் இட்ட தண்டனைத் தீர்ப்பை மாற்ற மாட்டோம்; தங்கள் நாட்டு எல்லைகளை விரிவுபடுத்துவதற்காக, கலகாத்தின் கர்ப்பவதிகள் வயிற்றைப் பீறிக் கிழித்தனர்;
14 ஆதலால் ராபாவின் கோட்டை மதிலில் தீ மூட்டுவோம், அது அதனுடைய அரண்மனைகளை அழித்து விடும்; போர் தொடுக்கும் நாளிலே பேரிரைச்சலும், சூறாவளி நாளிலே கடும்புயலும் இருக்கும்!
15 அவர்களுடைய அரசன் அடிமையாய்க் கொண்டு போகப்படுவான், தலைவர்களும் அவனோடு கொண்டு போகப்படுவர்" என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர்.

3 Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS ; For H5921 PREP three H7969 NFS transgressions H6588 of Damascus H1834 , and for H5921 PREP four H702 MMS , I will not H3808 NADV turn away H7725 the punishment thereof ; because H5921 PREP they have threshed H1758 Gilead H1568 with threshing instruments H2742 of iron H1270 :
4 But I will send H7971 a fire H784 CMS into the house H1004 B-CMS of Hazael H2371 , which shall devour H398 the palaces H759 of Ben H1130 - hadad .
5 I will break H7665 also the bar H1280 NMS of Damascus H1834 , and cut off H3772 the inhabitant H3427 VQPMS from the plain H1237 of Aven H206 , and him that holdeth H8551 the scepter H7626 CMS from the house of Eden H1040 : and the people H5971 NMS of Syria H758 EMS shall go into captivity H1540 unto Kir H7024 , saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 NAME-4MS .
6 Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS ; For H5921 PREP three H7969 NFS transgressions H6588 of Gaza H5804 LFS , and for H5921 PREP four H702 MMS , I will not H3808 NADV turn away H7725 the punishment thereof ; because H5921 PREP they carried away captive H1540 the whole H8003 captivity H1546 , to deliver them up H5462 to Edom H123 :
7 But I will send H7971 a fire H784 CMS on the wall H2346 of Gaza H5804 LFS , which shall devour H398 the palaces H759 thereof :
8 And I will cut off H3772 the inhabitant H3427 VQPMS from Ashdod H795 , and him that holdeth H8551 the scepter H7626 CMS from Ashkelon H831 , and I will turn H7725 mine hand H3027 CFS-1MS against H5921 PREP Ekron H6138 : and the remnant H7611 of the Philistines H6430 TMS shall perish H6 , saith H559 VQQ3MS the Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 .
9 Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS ; For H5921 PREP three H7969 NFS transgressions H6588 of Tyrus H6865 , and for H5921 PREP four H702 MMS , I will not H3808 NADV turn away H7725 the punishment thereof ; because H5921 PREP they delivered up H5462 the whole H8003 captivity H1546 to Edom H123 , and remembered H2142 not H3808 W-NADV the brotherly H251 covenant H1285 NFS :
10 But I will send H7971 a fire H784 CMS on the wall H2346 of Tyrus H6865 , which shall devour H398 the palaces H759 thereof .
11 Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS ; For H5921 PREP three H7969 NFS transgressions H6588 of Edom H123 , and for H5921 PREP four H702 MMS , I will not H3808 NADV turn away H7725 the punishment thereof ; because H5921 PREP he did pursue H7291 his brother H251 CMS-3MS with the sword H2719 , and did cast off H7843 all pity H7356 , and his anger H639 CMS-3MS did tear H2963 perpetually H5703 L-NMS , and he kept H8104 his wrath H5678 forever H5331 :
12 But I will send H7971 a fire H784 CMS upon Teman H8487 , which shall devour H398 the palaces H759 of Bozrah H1224 .
13 Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS ; For H5921 PREP three H7969 NFS transgressions H6588 of the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 , and for H5921 PREP four H702 MMS , I will not H3808 NADV turn away H7725 the punishment thereof ; because H5921 PREP they have ripped up H1234 the women with child H2030 of Gilead H1568 , that H4616 L-CONJ they might enlarge H7337 their border H1366 :
14 But I will kindle H3341 a fire H784 CMS in the wall H2346 of Rabbah H7237 , and it shall devour H398 the palaces H759 thereof , with shouting H8643 B-NFS in the day H3117 B-NMS of battle H4421 NFS , with a tempest H5591 in the day H3117 B-NMS of the whirlwind H5492 NFS :
15 And their king H4428 shall go H1980 into captivity H1473 , he H1931 PPRO-3MS and his princes H8269 together H3162 ADV-3MS , saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 NAME-4MS .
