3 குருத்துவப் பணி செய்யும் பொருட்டு அபிசேகம் செய்யப்பட்டு கைகள் நிறைக்கப்பெற்று அர்ச்சிக்கப்பட்ட ஆரோனின் புதல்வராகிய குருக்களின் பெயர்கள் இவைகளே.

4 ஆனால், நாதாப் அபியூ என்பவர்கள் சீனாய்ப் பாலைவனத்திலே ஆண்டவர் திருமுன் அந்நிய நெருப்பைச் சமர்ப்பித்தமையால் மகப்பேறின்றி மாண்டனர். எலேயசாரும் இத்தமாரும் தங்கள் தந்தையாகிய ஆரோனின் முன்னிலையில் குருத்துவ ஊழியம் செய்து வந்தார்கள்.

27 காத்தினின்று அம்ராம், ஜெஸார், எப்ரோன், ஓசியேல் என்னும் பெயர்களைக் கொண்டே வம்சங்கள் உண்டாயின. இவைகளே தத்தம் பெயர்களின்படி எண்ணப்பட்ட காத்தின் வம்சங்கள்.

28 ஒரு மாதம் முதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட ஆண்டுகளெல்லாம் எண்ணாயிரத்து அறுநூறு பேர் அவற்றில் காணப்பட்டனர்.

29 இவர்கள் புனித இடத்தைக் காவல் காத்துக்கொண்டு, தென்புறத்திலே பாளையம் இறங்குவார்கள்.

34 ஒரு மாதம் முதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள ஆண்கள் ஆறாயிரத்து இருநூறு பேர்.

35 இவர்களுக்கு அபிகயேலின் புதல்வனாகிய சுரியேல் தலைவன். இவர்கள் வடபுறத்தில் பாளையம் இறங்குவார்கள்.

36 கூடாரப் பலகைகளும். அவற்றின் தண்டுகளும், பாதங்கள் தூண்கள் இவைபோன்ற வழிபாட்டுப் பொருட்களும் அவர்களுடைய காவலிலே வைக்கப்பட்டன.

40 And the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS said ^H559 ^W-VQY3MS unto ^H413 ^PREP Moses ^H4872 , Number ^H6485 all ^H3605 ^NMS the firstborn ^H1060 of the males ^H2145 ^NMS of the children ^H1121 ^L-CMP of Israel ^H3478 from a month ^H2320 old ^H1121 and upward ^H4605 , and take ^H5375 the number ^H4557 ^CMS of their names ^H8034 .

47 Thou shalt even take ^H3947 five shekels apiece ^H2568 by the poll ^H1538 , after the shekel ^H8255 of the sanctuary ^H6944 shalt thou take ^H3947 them : (the shekel ^H8255 is twenty ^H6242 gerahs ^H1626 : )

48 And thou shalt give ^H5414 the money ^H3701 , wherewith the odd number ^H5736 of them is to be redeemed ^H6299 , unto Aaron ^H175 and to his sons ^H1121 .

49 And Moses ^H4872 took ^H3947 ^W-VQY3MS the redemption ^H6306 money ^H3701 ^NMS of them that were over ^H5736 and above ^H5921 ^PREP them that were redeemed ^H6306 by the Levites ^H3881 :

50 Of the firstborn ^H1060 ^CMS of the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 took ^H3947 ^VQQ3MS he the money ^H3701 ; a thousand ^H505 three ^H7969 ^W-BFS hundred ^H3967 ^BFP and threescore ^H8346 ^W-MMP and five ^H2568 shekels , after the shekel ^H8255 of the sanctuary ^H6944 :

51 And Moses ^H4872 gave ^H5414 ^W-VQQ3MS the money ^H3701 ^NMS of them that were redeemed ^H6306 unto Aaron ^H175 and to his sons ^H1121 , according to ^H5921 ^PREP the word ^H6310 of the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS , as ^H834 ^K-RPRO the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS commanded ^H6680 ^VPQ3MS Moses ^H4872 .
