1 இதற்குப்பின் மண்ணுலகின் நான்கு மூலைகளிலும் வானதூதர் நால்வர் நிற்கக் கண்டேன். மண்மீது வீசும் நான்கு காற்றுகள் நிலத்தின் மீதோ, நீரின் மீதோ, எந்த மரத்தின் மீதோ வீசாதவாறு அவர்கள் நிறுத்தி வைத்திருந்தார்கள்.
2 கதிரோன் எழும் திசையிலிருந்து இன்னொரு வானதூதர் எழுந்து வருவதைக் கண்டேன். உயிருள்ள கடவுளின் முத்திரை அவர் கையில் இருந்தது. அவர் நிலத்திற்கும் நீருக்கும் தீங்கு விளைவிக்க அதிகாரம் பெற்றிருந்த வானதூதர் நால்வரையும் உரத்த குரலில் அழைத்து,
3 "எங்கள் கடவுளுடைய ஊழியர்களின் நெற்றியில் நாங்கள் முத்திரையிடுமளவும் நிலத்திற்கோ நீருக்கோ மரத்திற்கோ தீங்கு யாதும் விளைவிக்கவேண்டாம்" என்றார்.
4 முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்களின் தொகை என்னவென்று சொல்லக் கேட்டேன். இஸ்ராயேல் மக்களின் குலங்கள் அனைத்திலும் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் ஒரு இலட்சத்து நாற்பத்து நாலாயிரம் பேர்.
5 யூதா குலத்தில் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் பன்னீராயிரம். ரூபன் குலத்தில் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் பன்னீராயிரம். காத் குலத்தில் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் பன்னீராயிரம்.
6 ஆசேர் குலத்தில் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் பன்னீராயிரம். நப்தலி குலத்தில் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் பன்னீராயிரம். மனாசே குலத்தில் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் பன்னீராயிரம்.
7 சிமியோன் குலத்தில் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் பன்னீராயிரம். லேவி குலத்தில் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் பன்னீராயிரம்.
8 இசக்கார் குலத்தில் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் பன்னீராயிரம். செபுலோன் குலத்தில் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் பன்னீராயிரம். யோசேப்பு குலத்தில் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் பன்னீராயிரம். பென்யமின் குலத்தில் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் பன்னீராயிரம்.
9 இதற்குப்பின் யாராலும் எண்ண இயலாத பெருந்திரளான மக்களைக் கண்டேன். இவர்கள் எல்லா நாட்டையும் குலத்தையும் இனத்தையும் மொழியையும் சார்ந்தவர்கள். இவர்கள் அரியணைக்கும் செம்மறிக்கும் முன்பாக நின்றுகொண்டிருந்தனர்; வெண்ணாடை அணிந்திருந்தனர்; கையில் குருத்தோலைகளை ஏந்தியிருந்தனர்.
10 உரத்த குரலில், "அரியணைமீது வீற்றிருக்கும் எங்கள் கடவுளுக்கும் செம்மறிக்குமே மீட்பு உரியது" என்று பாடினர்.
11 அரியணையையும் மூப்பர்களையும் நான்கு உயிர்களையும் சூழ்ந்து நின்ற வானதூதர்கள் அனைவரும் அரியணைமுன் முகம்குப்புற விழுந்து கடவுளைத் தொழுது,
12 "ஆமென், போற்றியும் மகிமையும் ஞானமும் நன்றியும் மாட்சியும் வல்லமையும் பலமும் நம் கடவுளுக்கு என்றென்றும் உரியனவாகுக, ஆமென்" என்றனர்.
13 மூப்பர்களுள் ஒருவர் என்னை நோக்கி, "வெண்ணாடை அணிந்த, இவர்கள் யார்? எங்கிருந்து வந்தனர்? தெரியுமா?" என்று கேட்க, நான் "ஐயா, நீர்தான் சொல்ல வேண்டும்" என்றேன்.
14 அதற்கு அவர் சொன்னது: "இவர்கள் பெரும் வேதனையினின்று மீண்டவர்கள். தங்கள் ஆடைகளைச் செம்மறியின் இரத்தத்தில் தோய்த்து வெண்மையாக்கிக் கொண்டார்கள்.
15 ஆகவேதான் இவர்கள் கடவுளது அரியணை முன் நின்று அவரது ஆலயத்தில் இரவும் பகலும் அவருக்கு வழிபாடு செலுத்துகிறார்கள். அரியணையில் வீற்றிருப்பவர் அவர்களைத் தம் நிழலில் வாழச் செய்வார்.
16 இனி அவர்களுக்குப் பசிதாகம் இராது. வெயிலோ வெப்பமோ அவர்களைத் தாக்காது.
17 ஏனெனில் அரியணை நடுவில் இருக்கும் செம்மறியானவர் அவர்களை மேய்த்து, வாழ்வளிக்கும் நீரூற்றுக்கு அவர்களை நடத்திச் செல்வார். கடவுள் அவர்களது கண்ணீர் அனைத்தையும் துடைத்துவிடுவார்."

2 And G2532 CONJ I saw G1492 V-2AAI-1S another G243 A-ASM angel G32 N-ASM ascending G305 V-PAP-ASM from G575 PREP the east G395 N-GSF , having G2192 V-PAP-ASM the seal G4973 N-ASF of the living G2198 V-PAP-GSM God G2316 N-GSM : and G2532 CONJ he cried G2896 V-AAI-3S with a loud G3173 A-DSF voice G5456 N-DSF to the G3588 T-DPM four G5064 A-DPM angels G32 N-DPM , to whom G3739 R-DPM it was given G1325 V-API-3S to G846 P-DPM hurt G91 V-AAN the G3588 T-ASF earth G1093 N-ASF and G2532 CONJ the G3588 T-ASF sea G2281 N-ASF ,
3 Saying G3004 V-PAP-NSM , Hurt G91 V-AAS-2P not G3361 PRT-N the G3588 T-ASF earth G1093 N-ASF , neither G3383 CONJ the G3588 T-ASF sea G2281 N-ASF , nor G3383 CONJ the G3588 T-APN trees G1186 N-APN , till G891 PREP we have sealed G4972 V-AAS-1P the G3588 T-APM servants G1401 N-APM of G3588 T-GSM our G3588 T-GSM God G2316 N-GSM in G1909 PREP their G3588 T-GPN foreheads G3359 N-GPN .

10 And G2532 CONJ cried G2896 V-PAI-3P with a loud G3173 A-DSF voice G5456 N-DSF , saying G3004 V-PAP-NPM , Salvation G4991 N-NSF to our G3588 T-DSM God G2316 N-DSM which sitteth G2521 V-PNP-DSM upon G1909 PREP the G3588 T-DSM throne G2362 N-DSM , and G2532 CONJ unto the G3588 T-DSN Lamb G721 N-DSN .
11 And G2532 CONJ all G3956 A-NPM the G3588 T-NPM angels G32 N-NPM stood G2476 V-LAI-3P round about G2945 N-DSM the G3588 T-GSM throne G2362 N-GSM , and G2532 CONJ about the G3588 T-GPM elders G4245 A-GPM and G2532 CONJ the G3588 T-GPN four G5064 A-GPN beasts G2226 N-GPN , and G2532 CONJ fell G4098 V-2AAI-3P before G1799 ADV the G3588 T-GSM throne G2362 N-GSM on G1909 PREP their G3588 T-APN faces G4383 N-APN , and G2532 CONJ worshiped G4352 V-AAI-3P God G2316 N-DSM ,

16 They shall hunger G3983 V-FAI-3P no G3756 PRT-N more G2089 ADV , neither G3761 ADV thirst G1372 V-FAI-3P any more G2089 ADV ; neither G3761 ADV shall the G3588 T-NSM sun G2246 N-NSM light G4098 V-2AAS-3S on G1909 PREP them G846 P-APM , nor G3761 ADV any G3956 A-NSN heat G2738 N-NSN .
17 For G3754 CONJ the G3588 T-NSN Lamb G721 N-NSN which G3588 T-NSN is in G303 PREP the midst G3319 A-ASN of G3588 T-GSM the G3588 T-GSM throne G2362 N-GSM shall feed G4165 V-FAI-3S them G846 P-APM , and G2532 CONJ shall lead G3594 V-FAI-3S them G846 P-APM unto G1909 PREP living G2198 fountains G4077 N-APF of waters G5204 N-GPN : and G2532 CONJ God G2316 N-NSM shall wipe away G1813 V-FAI-3S all G3956 A-ASN tears G1144 N-ASN from G575 their G3588 T-GPM eyes G3788 N-GPM .
