1 புறவினத்தார் சீறுவது ஏன்? வேற்றினத்தார் வீணான சூழ்ச்சி செய்வானேன்?
2 மாநில மன்னர்கள் கலகம் விளைக்கிறார்கள்: தலைவர்கள் ஒன்றுசேர்ந்து ஆண்டவரையும், அவர் அபிஷுகம் செய்த அரசரையும் எதிர்த்துச் சதி செய்கிறார்கள்.
3 அவர்கள் இட்ட தளைகளை இனித் தகர்த்தெறிவோம்: அவர்கள் வைத்த கண்ணிகளை உதறிவிடுவோம்" என்கின்றனர்.
4 வானுலகில் வீற்றிருப்பவரோ இதைப் பார்த்து நகைக்கிறார்: ஆண்டவர் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து ஏளனம் செய்கின்றார்.
5 வெகுண்டெழுந்து அவர்களை அச்சத்தில் ஆழ்த்துகிறார்: கடுஞ் சினத்தால் அவர்களைக் கலங்கடிக்கின்றார்.
6 சீயோனிலே, என் திருமலை மீதினிலே, நான் அவரை என் அரசராக நிறுவினேன்" என்கிறார்.
7 கடவுள் விடுத்த கட்டளையை நான் பறைசாற்றுவேன்: ஆண்டவர் என்னிடம் கூறியது: "நீர் எம் மகள், இன்று உம்மை ஈன்றெடுத்தோம்.
8 எம்மிடம் கேளும், யாம் உமக்கு மக்களினங்களை உரிமையாக்குவோம்: உலகின் கடை எல்லை வரை உமக்குச் சொந்தமாக்குவோம்.
9 இருப்புக் கோல் கொண்டு அவர்களை நொறுக்குவீர்: குயவனின் கலங்களென அவர்களைத் தவிடு பொடியாக்குவீர்."
10 ஆகவே அரசர்களே, இப்போது உணர்ந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்: மாநிலத்தை ஆள்பவர்களே, அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.
11 ஆண்டவருக்கு அச்சத்தோடு ஊழியம் செய்யுங்கள்: அவர் முன் அகமகிழுங்கள்.
12 நடுநடுங்கி அவர் முன் தெண்டனிடுங்கள், இல்லையேல் சினந்தெழுவார், நீங்கள் வழியிலேயே அழிவுறுவீர்: அவரது சினமோ விரைவில் கொதித்தெழும்; அவரிடம் அடைக்கலம் புகுவோர் அனைவரும் பேறுபெற்றோர்.
