Genesis 13:1 (RCTA) Old Roman Catholical Bible for Tamil Language

1 ஆகையால் ஆபிராமும், அவன் மனைவியும், அவன் உடைமைகள் யாவும், அவனோடு லோத்தும் எகிப்தை விட்டுத் தெற்கே சென்றனர்.
2 ஆபிராம் பொன்னும் வெள்ளியுமாகத் திரளான செல்வங்களைக் கொண்டிருந்தான்.
3 தன்னுடைய முந்தின பயணத்தில் அவன் தெற்கிலிருந்து பெத்தெலுக்கு வந்திருந்தான். இப்பொழுதும் அவன் வந்த வழியே திரும்பிப் போய், பெத்தெலுக்கும் ஆயிக்கும் நடுவில் தான் முன்பு கூடாரம் அடித்திருந்ததும்,
4 தான் முதன் முதல் ஒரு பலிப்பீடத்தைக் கட்டியிருந்ததுமான இடம் வரைப் போய், அங்கே ஆண்டவருடைய பெயரைத் தொழுதான்.
5 ஆபிராமுடன் இருந்த லோத்துக்கு ஆட்டு மந்தைகளும், மாட்டு மந்தைகளும், கூடாரங்களும் இருந்தன.
6 அவர்கள் இருவரும் ஒன்றாய்க் குடியிருப்பதற்குப் போதுமான இடம் இல்லை. உண்மையிலே அவர்களுடைய சொத்து மிகுதியாயிருந்தமையால் அவர்கள் சேர்ந்து வாழக் கூடாமல் போயிற்று.
7 எனவே, ஆபிராமின் மந்தை மேய்ப்பவருக்கும், லோத்தின் மந்தை மேய்ப்பவருக்குமிடையே (பிணக்குகள்) உண்டாயின. அக்காலத்தில் கானானையரும் பெரேசையரும் அதே நாட்டில் குடியிருந்தனர்.
8 அது கண்டு ஆபிராம் லோத்தை நோக்கி: உனக்கும் எனக்கும், உன் மேய்ப்பர்களுக்கும் என் மேய்ப்பர்களுக்குமிடையே வாக்குவாதம் வேண்டாம். நாம் சகோதரர் அல்லரோ?
9 அதோ, நாடு முழுவதும் கண் முன் இருக்கிறது. தயவுசெய்து என்னை விட்டுப் பிரிந்து போ. நீ இடப்பக்கம் போனால், நான் வலப்பக்கம் போகிறேன்; நீ வலப்பக்கம் போக விரும்பினால், நான் இடப்பக்கம் செல்கிறேன் என்றான்.
10 இது கேட்டு லோத் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்துப் பார்த்தான்; யோர்தான் நதியின் இரு புறத்திலுமுள்ள இடம் முழுவதும் (நீர்) வளமுள்ளதாய் இருக்கக் கண்டான். உண்மையில் ஆண்டவர் சொதொம், கொமோரா (என்னும் நகரங்களை) அழிக்கு முன்பே, அந்நாடு ஆண்டவருடைய இன்ப வனத்தைப் போலவும், செகோர் பக்கம் செல்பவர்களுக்கு எகிப்தை போலவும் தோற்றமளிக்கும்.
11 ஆகையால் லோத் யோர்தான் நதியின் இரு புறத்திலுமுள்ள நாட்டைத் தேர்ந்து கொண்டு, கீழ்த்திசையை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டான். இவ்வாறு அவர்கள் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் விட்டுப் பிரிந்தனர். ஆபிராம் கானான் நாட்டில் குடியிருந்தான்.
12 லோத்தோ யோர்தான் நதிக்கு அருகிலிருந்த நகரங்களில் வாழ்ந்து, இறுதியில் சொதோம் நகரில் குடியேறினான்.
13 சொதோம் நகர மக்கள் மிகக் கொடியவரும், ஆண்டவர் முன்பாகப் பெரும் பாவிகளுமாய் இருந்தனர்.
14 லோத் பிரிந்து போன பின்பு ஆண்டவர் ஆபிராமை நோக்கி: நீ கண்களை ஏறெடுத்து, நீ இருக்கிற இடத்திலிருந்து வடக்கு, தெற்கு, கிழக்கு, மேற்கு ஆகிய நான்கு திசைகளையும் நோக்கிப் பார்.
15 நீ காண்கிற இந்தப் பூமி முழுவதையும் நாம் உனக்கும் உன் சந்ததிக்கும் என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும்படி கொடுப்போம்.நி355
16 அன்றியும் உன் சந்ததியைப் பூமியின் புழுதிப் போலப் பெருகச் செய்வோம். மனிதர்களுள் ஒருவன் பூமியின் புழுதியை எண்ணக் கூடுமாயின், அவனால் உன் சந்ததியாரையும் எண்ணக் கூடுவதாகும்.
17 நீ எழுந்துபோய், நாட்டை நீளவசமாயும் அகல வசமாயும் நடந்துபார். ஏனென்றால், அதனை உனக்குத் தரவிருக்கிறோம் என்றருளினார்.
18 ஆபிராம் தன் கூடாரத்தைப் பெயர்த்து எபிறோனில் இருக்கும் மாம்பிரே என்ற பள்ளத்தாக்கிற்கு அண்மையிலேயே குடியேறினான். அவ்விடத்திலும் ஆண்டவருக்கு ஒரு பீடத்தைக் கட்டினான்.

3 And he went H1980 W-VQY3MS on his journeys H4550 L-CMP-3MS from the south H5045 M-EFS even to H5704 PREP Bethel H1008 LFS , unto H5704 PREP the place H4725 D-NMS where H834 RPRO his tent H168 CMS-3FS had been H1961 VQQ3MS at the beginning H8462 BD-NFS , between H996 PREP Bethel H1008 LFS and Hai H5857 D-EFS ;
4 Unto H413 PREP the place H4725 CMS of the altar H4196 D-NMS , which H834 RPRO he had made H6213 VQQ3MS there H8033 ADV at the first H7223 BD-AFS : and there H8033 ADV Abram H87 EMS called H7121 W-VQY3MS on the name H8034 B-CMS of the LORD H3068 NAME-4MS .
5 And Lot H3876 L-EMS also H1571 W-CONJ , which went H1980 D-VQPMS with H854 PREP Abram H87 EMS , had H1961 VQQ3MS flocks H6629 NMS , and herds H1241 W-NMS , and tents H168 W-NMP .
6 And the land H776 D-GFS was not H3808 W-NPAR able to bear H5375 VQQ3MS them , that they might dwell H3427 L-VQFC together H3162 ADV-3MS : for H3588 CONJ their substance H7399 CMS-3MP was H1961 VQQ3MS great H7227 AMS , so that they could H3201 VQP3MP not H3808 W-NPAR dwell H3427 L-VQFC together H3162 ADV .
7 And there was H1961 W-VPY3MS a strife H7379 NMS between H996 PREP the herdsmen H7462 of Abram H87 EMS \'s cattle H4735 CMS and the herdsmen H7462 of Lot H3876 EMS \'s cattle H4735 CMS : and the Canaanite H3669 WD-EMS and the Perizzite H6522 WD-EMS dwelled H3427 VQPMS then H227 ADV in the land H776 B-GFS .
8 And Abram H87 EMS said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP Lot H3876 EMS , Let there be H1961 VQI3FS no H408 NPAR strife H4808 NFS , I pray thee H4994 IJEC , between H996 W-PREP-1MS me and thee , and between H996 W-PREP my herdsmen H7462 and thy herdsmen H7462 ; for H3588 CONJ we H587 PPRO-1MP be brethren H251 NMP .
9 Is not H3808 I-NADV the whole H3605 CMS land H776 D-GFS before H6440 L-CMP-2MS thee ? separate thyself H6504 VNI2MS , I pray thee H4994 IJEC , from M-PREP-1MS me : if H518 PART thou wilt take the left hand H8040 D-NMS , then I will go to the right H3231 W-VHI1MS ; or if H518 PART thou depart to the right hand H3225 D-NFS , then I will go to the left H8041 W-VHI1MS .
10 And Lot H3876 EMS lifted up H5375 W-VQY3MS his eyes H5869 CMD-3MS , and beheld H7200 W-VIY3MS all H3605 NMS the plain H3603 CFS of Jordan H3383 D-EFS , that H3588 CONJ it was well watered H4945 NMS every where H3605 NMS , before H6440 L-CMP the LORD H3068 EDS destroyed H7843 VPFC Sodom H5467 TFS and Gomorrah H6017 EFS , even as the garden H1588 K-CMS of the LORD H3068 EDS , like the land H776 K-CFS of Egypt H4714 EFS , as thou comest H935 VQFC-2MS unto Zoar H6820 TFS .
11 Then Lot H3876 EMS chose H977 W-VQY3MS him all H3605 NMS the plain H3603 CFS of Jordan H3383 D-EFS ; and Lot H3876 EMS journeyed H5265 W-VQY3MS east H6924 M-NMS : and they separated themselves H6504 W-VNY3MP the one H376 NMS from M-PREP the other H251 CMP-3MS .
12 Abram H87 EMS dwelled H3427 VQQ3MS in the land H776 B-GFS of Canaan H3667 EMS , and Lot H3876 W-EMS dwelled H3427 VQQ3MS in the cities H5892 B-CFP of the plain H3603 D-NFS , and pitched his tent H167 W-VQY3MS toward H5704 PREP Sodom H5467 EFS .
13 But the men H376 W-CMP of Sodom H5467 TFS were wicked H7451 AMP and sinners H2400 W-NMP before the LORD H3068 L-EDS exceedingly H3966 ADV .
14 And the LORD H3068 W-EMS said H559 VQQ3MS unto H413 PREP Abram H87 EMS , after that H310 PREP Lot H3876 EMS was separated H6504 D-VNFC from M-PREP-3MS him , Lift up H5375 VQI2MS now H4994 IJEC thine eyes H5869 CMD-2MS , and look H7200 W-VQI2MS from H4480 PREP the place H4725 D-NMS where H834 RPRO thou H859 PPRO-2MS art northward H6828 NFS-3FS , and southward H5045 W-NMS-3FS , and eastward H6924 W-ADV-3FS , and westward H3220 W-NMS-3FS :
15 For CONJ all H3605 NMS the land H776 D-GFS which H834 RPRO thou H859 PPRO-2MS seest H7200 VQPMS , to thee will I give H5414 VQY1MS-3FS it , and to thy seed H2233 WL-CMS-2MS forever H5704 PREP .
16 And I will make H7760 W-VQQ1MS thy seed H2233 CMS-2MS as the dust H6083 K-NMS of the earth H776 D-GFS : so that H834 RPRO if H518 PART a man H376 can H3201 VQY3MS number H4487 L-VQFC the dust H6083 CMS of the earth H776 D-GFS , then shall thy seed H2233 CMS-2MS also H1571 CONJ be numbered H4487 VNY3MS .
17 Arise H6965 VQI2MS , walk H1980 VTI2MS through the land H776 B-NFS in the length H753 L-CMS-3FS of it and in the breadth H7341 WL-CMS-3FS of it ; for H3588 CONJ I will give H5414 VQY1MS-3FS it unto thee .
18 Then Abram H87 EMS removed his tent H167 W-VQY3MS , and came H935 W-VQY3MS and dwelt H3427 W-VQY3MS in the plain H436 B-CMP of Mamre H4471 EFS , which H834 RPRO is in Hebron H2275 B-EFS , and built H1129 W-VQY3MS there H8033 ADV an altar H4196 NMS unto the LORD H3068 L-EMS .
