1 ਉਹ ਬਚਨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬਾਬਲ ਲਈ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨਬੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਿਆ, -

2 ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸੋ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਣਾਓ, ਝੰਡਾ ਖੜਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਣਾਓ, ਨਾ ਲੁਕਾਓ ਪਰ ਆਖੋ, ਬਾਬਲ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ! ਬੇਲ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ, ਮਰੋਦਾਕ ਹੱਕਾ ਬੱਕਾ ਹੋਇਆ, ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਈਆਂ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਤ ਹੱਕੇ ਬੱਕੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ!।।

3 ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਚੜ੍ਹੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਵੱਸੇਗਾ। ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਡੰਗਰ ਤੀਕ ਖਿਸਕ ਕੇ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ

4 ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ, ਓਹ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ, ਓਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਣਗੇ

5 ਓਹ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਮੂੰਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਧਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਪੁੱਛਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਆਓ, ਅਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਦੀਪ ਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਨੇਮ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੀਏ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।।

6 ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਭੁੱਲੀ ਭੇਡ ਹੈ, ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਜੜੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਾਇਆ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੁੰਆਇਆ। ਓਹ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਤੋਂ ਟਿੱਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਗਏ, ਓਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੇਟਣ ਦਾ ਥਾਂ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਏ ਹਨ

7 ਓਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਿਆ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਗਏ। ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਅਸੀਂ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ, ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਧਰਮ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ, ਹਾਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਉ ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਸ।।

8 ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰੋਂ ਨੱਠੋ ਅਤੇ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੋ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੱਕਰਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਙੁ ਹੋਵੋ

9 ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਦਲ ਪਰੇਰ ਕੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਓਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਾਲਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਲੈਣਗੇ। ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਣ ਇੱਕ ਘਾਗ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖਾਲੀ ਹੱਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੜਦਾ

10 ਕਸਦੀ ਲੁੱਟੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟਣਗੇ ਓਹ ਰੱਜ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।।

11 ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵੋ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਾਗ਼ ਬਾਗ਼ ਹੋਵੋ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਿਲਖ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟਣ ਵਾਲਿਓ! ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਘਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੱਛੇ ਵਾਂਙੁ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨ੍ਹ ਘੋੜੇ ਵਾਂਙੁ ਹਿਣਕੋ,

12 ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜਣਿਆ ਉਹ ਬੇਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਾਡੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਸੁੱਕੀ ਉਜਾੜ ਅਤੇ ਥਲ।

13 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਪ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਵਸਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਉੱਕੀ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਹਰੇਕ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘੇਗਾ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਨੱਕ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੇਗਾ।

14 ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਾਲਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਧਣੁਖ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਲਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਰਫਾ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

15 ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਲਿਓਂ ਦੁਆਲਿਓਂ ਲਲਕਾਰੋ, ਉਹ ਨੇ ਹਾਰ ਮੰਨੀ, ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੀਹਾਂ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਈਆਂ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸਫੀਲ ਢਾਹੀ ਗਈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਦਲਾ ਲਓ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੋ!

16 ਬਾਬਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬੀਜਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਦਾਤੀ ਫੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟੋ! ਸਤਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਹਰੇਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜੇਗਾ, ਹਰੇਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਵੱਲ ਨੱਠੇਗਾ।।

17 ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਇੱਕ ਭਟਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਭੇਡ ਹੈ ਜਿਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਧੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਖਾਧਾ ਅਤੇ ਓੜਕ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਬੂਕਦਰੱਸਰ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਚੱਬ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ

18 ਏਸ ਲਈ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਐਉਂ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, - ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ

19 ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਚਰਾਂਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਕਰਮਲ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁੱਗੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਰੱਜ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ

20 ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਭਾਲੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਪਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ, ਪਰ ਪਾਏ ਨਾ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਕੀ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।।

21 ਮਰਾਥਇਮ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਹ, ਅਤੇ ਪਕੋਦ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ, ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੱਤਿਆ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰ ਜਿਹ ਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

22 ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭੰਨ ਤੋੜ ਦੀ!

23 ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਹਥੌੜਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕੱਟਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਭੰਨਿਆ ਗਿਆ! ਬਾਬਲ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ!

24 ਹੇ ਬਾਬਲ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਫਾਹੀ ਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਫੜਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਤੈਂ ਨਾ ਜਾਤਾ, ਤੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫੜਿਆ ਵੀ ਗਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਝਗੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ।

25 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਸਤਰ ਖ਼ਾਨਾ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੈ, ਨਾਲੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗਜ਼ਬ ਦੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।

26 ਹਰ ਪਾਸਿਓ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਓ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਖਾਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੋ, ਅੰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਢੇਰੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਙੁ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਢੇਰੀਆਂ ਲਾ ਦਿਓ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸੱਤਿਆ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਬਾਕੀ ਨਾ ਰਹੇ!

27 ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਲਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟ ਸੁੱਟੋ, ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਜਾਣ ਦਿਓ, ਓਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ,ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਆ ਗਿਆ, ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਵੇਲਾ!।।

28 ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨੱਠਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਚਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਹੈ ਭਈ ਓਹ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਹੈਕਲ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਦੱਸਣ

29 ਧਣੁਖ ਦੇ ਘਾਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਧਣੁਖ ਝੁਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਓ। ਓਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਲਾਉਣ, ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਚ ਜਾਵੇ! ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਦਾ ਵੱਟਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਓ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਓਸ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ

30 ਏਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੁਗਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੌਂਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੋਧੇ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।।

31 ਵੇਖ, ਹੇ ਹੰਕਾਰੀ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹਾਂ, ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਆ ਗਿਆ, ਤੇਰੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਸਮਾ।

32 ਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਠੇਡਾ ਖਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਉਠਾਵੇਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗ ਬਾਲਾਂਗਾ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਆਲਾ ਦੁਆਲਾ ਭੱਖ ਲਵੇਗੀ।।

33 ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਐਉਂ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕਠਾ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜੀ ਬੈਠੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡਣ ਤੋਂ ਮੁੱਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ

34 ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਛੁੱਟਕਾਰਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਤਕੜਾ ਹੈ, ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਕੱਦਮਾ ਲੜੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਮਾਨ ਦੇਵੇ ਪਰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰੇ।।

35 ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ, ਨਾਲੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਧੀਵਾਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ!

36 ਬੜ ਬੋਲਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਓਹ ਮੂਰਖ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ! ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਓਹ ਘਾਬਰ ਜਾਣ!

37 ਉਹ ਦੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਹੈ, ਓਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰਲਿਆਂ ਮਿਲਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ, ਭਈ ਓਹ ਤੀਵੀਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ! ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਖ਼ਜਾਨਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਹੈ, ਭਈ ਓਹ ਲੁੱਟ ਦਾ ਮਾਲ ਹੋਣ!

38 ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਔੜ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਓਹ ਸੁੱਕ ਜਾਣ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਏਹ ਘੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੇਸ ਹੈ, ਓਹ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਗਲ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ!।।

39 ਏਸ ਲਈ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਦਰਿੰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਗਿੱਦੜ ਉੱਥੇ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਤਰ-ਮੁਰਗ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸੋਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਤੀਕ ਫੇਰ ਨਾ ਵਸਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਓ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਵੱਸੇਗਾ

40 ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਦੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੂਰਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਿਆਂ ਵਾਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਲਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਸੋ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੱਸੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਆਦਮ ਵੰਸ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕੇਗਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।।

41 ਵੇਖੋ, ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਉੱਮਤ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਕੌਮ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ, ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਓਹ ਉਕਸਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

42 ਓਹਨਾਂ ਧਣੁਖ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਲਾ ਫੜਿਆ ਹੈ, ਓਹ ਬੇਤਰਸ ਹਨ, ਓਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਮ ਨਹੀਂ, ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਾਂਙੁ ਗੱਜਦੀ ਹੈ, ਓਹ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਸਵਾਰ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਲੜਾਈ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਾਂਙੁ ਪਾਲਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀਏ ਧੀਏ, ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ!

43 ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਈ ਸੁਣੀ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਢਿੱਲੇ ਪੈ ਗਏ, ਦੁਖ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆ ਫੜਿਆ, ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਣਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਤੀਵੀਂ ਵਾਂਙੁ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ।।

44 ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਹ ਬਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਂਙੁ ਯਰਦਨ ਦੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੱਕੇ ਵਸੇਬੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਅਚਾਣਕ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਨਠਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਅਤੇ ਕੌਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਵੇਲਾ ਠਹਿਰਾਵੇਗਾ? ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਖਲੋ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ

45 ਏਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਸੁਣੋ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਸ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੋਚੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਸ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸੱਚ ਮੁੱਚ ਓਹ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਜੱੜ ਦੇ ਨਿੱਕੇ ਨਿੱਕੇ ਧੂ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਸੱਚ ਮੁੱਚ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਰਾਂਦਾ ਵੀ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ
