ERVKN   ಪೇತ್ರನು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸೈನಿಕರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ನಿದ್ರೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಎರಡು ಸರಪಣಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅನೇಕ ಸೈನಿಕರು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮರುದಿನ ಪೇತ್ರನನ್ನು ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ತರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೆರೋದನು ಯೋಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.
