53 അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ ദൈവവും നാഹോരിന്റെ ദൈവവും അവരുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ ദൈവവുമായവന്‍ നമുക്കു മദ്ധ്യേ വിധിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. യാക്കോബ് തന്റെ പിതാവായ യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ ഭയമായവനെച്ചൊല്ലി സത്യം ചെയ്തു.

ERVTA   ஆபிரகாமின் தேவனும் நாகோரின் தேவனும் அவர்களது முற்பிதாக்களின் தேவனுமானவர், நாம் இந்த ஒப்பந்தத்தை உடைத்தால், குற்றவாளி யாரென்று நியாயந்தீர்க்கட்டும்" என்றான். யாக்கோபின் தந்தையான ஈசாக்கு தேவனை "பயபக்திக்குரியவர்" என்று அழைத்தார். யாக்கோபு அந்தப் பெயரிலேயே வாக்குறுதி செய்தான்.

ERVTE   ఒప్పందాన్ని గనుక మనం మీరితే, అబ్రాహాము దేవుడు, నాహోరు దేవుడు, వారి పూర్వికుల దేవుడు మనలను నేరస్థులుగా తీర్పు చెప్పును గాక.” యాకోబు తండ్రియైన ఇస్సాకు, దేవుణ్ణి “భయంకరుడు” అని పిల్చాడు. కనుక యాకోబు పేరు మీదనే వాగ్దానం చేసాడు.

ERVKN   ನಾವು ಒಪ್ಪಂದವನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಹಾಕಿದರೆ, ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧಿಯಾದವನಿಗೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ದೇವರು, ನಾಹೋರನ ದೇವರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ದೇವರು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನು ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವ ದೇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದನು.
