15 അവന്‍ കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു പരീശന്മാരും അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു. അവന്‍ അവരോടുഅവന്‍ എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മേല്‍ ചേറു തേച്ചു ഞാന്‍ കഴുകി; കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

ERVKN   ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಮನುಷ್ಯನು, “ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಸರನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿದನು. ನಾನು ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನು. ಈಗ ನನಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
