ERVKN   ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ಯರ ಸೈನಿಕರು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಓಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ರಿಮ್ಮೋನ್ ಗಿರಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು. ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರು ದಾರಿಯ ಉದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಐದು ಸಾವಿರ ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು. ಅವರು ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದರು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಗಿದೋಮಿನವರೆಗೆ ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್ ಸೈನಿಕರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನ ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು.
