Ecclesiastes 1:1 (IRVTA) Indian Revised Version - Tamil

1 {எல்லாம் மாயை} PS தாவீதின் மகனும் எருசலேமின் அரசாண்ட ராஜாவுமாகிய பிரசங்கியின் வார்த்தைகள்.
2 “மாயை, மாயை, எல்லாம் மாயை என்று” பிரசங்கி சொல்லுகிறான்.
3 சூரியனுக்குக் கீழே * உலகத்தில் மனிதன் படுகிற எல்லாப் பாடுகளினாலும் அவனுக்குப் பலன் என்ன?
4 ஒரு சந்ததி போகிறது, மறு சந்ததி வருகிறது; பூமியோ என்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.
5 சூரியன் உதிக்கிறது, சூரியன் மறைகிறது; தான் உதித்த இடத்திற்கே அது திரும்பவும் விரைகிறது.
6 காற்று தெற்கே போய், வடக்கேயும்சுற்றி, சுழன்று சுழன்று அடித்து, தான் சுற்றின இடத்துக்கே திரும்பவும் வரும்.
7 எல்லா நதிகளும் கடலிலே ஓடி விழுந்தும் கடல் நிரம்பாது; தாங்கள் தோன்றிய இடத்திற்கே நதிகள் மறுபடியும் திரும்பும்.
8 எல்லாம் வருத்தத்தினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; அது மனிதர்களால் சொல்லமுடியாது; காண்கிறதினால் கண் திருப்தியாவதில்லை, கேட்கிறதினால் செவி நிரப்பப்படுகிறதுமில்லை.
9 முன்பு இருந்ததே இனிமேலும் இருக்கும்; முன்பு செய்யப்பட்டதே பின்னும் செய்யப்படும்; சூரியனுக்குக் கீழே புதியது ஒன்றுமில்லை.
10 இதைப் பார், இது புதியது என்று சொல்லப்படத்தக்க காரியம் ஒன்றுண்டோ? அது நமக்கு முன்னுள்ள ஆரம்பகாலங்களிலும் இருந்ததே.
11 முன்பு இருந்தவைகளைப்பற்றி ஞாபகம் இல்லை; அப்படியே பின்வரும் காரியங்களைப்பற்றியும் இனி மேலும் இருப்பவர்களுக்கு ஞாபகம் இருக்காது. PS
12 {ஞானமும் மாயையே} PS பிரசங்கியாகிய நான் எருசலேமில் இஸ்ரவேலர்களுக்கு ராஜாவாக இருந்தேன்.
13 வானத்தின்கீழ் நடப்பதையெல்லாம் ஞானமாக விசாரித்து ஆராய்ச்சி செய்கிறதற்கு என்னுடைய உள்ளத்தில் தீர்மானம்செய்தேன்; மனுமக்கள் இந்தக் கடுந்தொல்லையில் அடிபடும்படி தேவன் அதை அவர்களுக்கு நியமித்திருக்கிறார்.
14 சூரியனுக்குக் கீழே செய்யப்படுகிற காரியங்களையெல்லாம் கவனித்துப் பார்த்தேன்; இதோ, எல்லாம் மாயையும், காற்றை பிடிக்கிறதைப் போல் † காற்றை சாப்பிடுவதைப் போல் இருக்கிறது.
15 கோணலானதை நேராக்கமுடியாது; குறைவானதை எண்ணமுடியாது.
16 “இதோ, நான் பெரியவனாக இருந்து, எனக்குமுன்பு எருசலேமிலிருந்த எல்லோரையும்விட ஞானமடைந்து தேறினேன்; என்னுடைய மனம் மிகுந்த ஞானத்தையும் அறிவையும் கண்டறிந்தது,” என்று நான் என்னுடைய உள்ளத்திலே சொல்லிக்கொண்டேன்.
17 ஞானத்தை அறிகிறதற்கும், பைத்தியத்தையும் மதியீனத்தையும் அறிகிறதற்கும், நான் என்னுடைய உள்ளத்தில் தீர்மானம்செய்தேன்; இதுவும் மனதிற்குக் கலக்கமாக இருக்கிறதென்று கண்டேன்.
18 அதிக ஞானத்திலே அதிக சலிப்பு உண்டு;
அறிவுபெருத்தவன் நோய்பெருத்தவன். PE

8 All H3605 NMS things H1697 AMP are full of labor H3023 ; man H376 NMS cannot H3201 VQY3MS utter H1696 it : the eye H5869 NMS is not H3808 NADV satisfied H7646 with seeing H7200 L-VQFC , nor H3808 NADV the ear H241 NFS filled H4390 with hearing H8085 .
9 The thing H4100 IPRO that hath been H7945 , it H1931 PPRO-3MS is that which shall be ; and that H4100 IPRO which is done H7945 is that H1931 PPRO-3MS which shall be done H7945 : and there is no H369 W-NPAR new H2319 thing under H8478 NMS the sun H8121 .
10 Is there H3426 PART any thing H1697 VQPMS whereof it may be said H7945 , See H7200 VQI2MS , this H2088 DPRO is new H2319 ? it H1931 PPRO-3MS hath been H1961 VQQ3MS already H3528 of old time H5769 , which H834 RPRO was H1961 VQQ3MS before H6440 us .
11 There is no H369 NPAR remembrance H2146 of former H7223 things ; neither H1571 W-CONJ shall there be H1961 any remembrance H2146 of things that are to come H7945 with H5973 PREP those that shall come H7945 after H314 .

13 And I gave H5414 my heart H3820 NMS-1MS to seek H1875 and search out H8446 by wisdom H2451 concerning H5921 PREP all H3605 NMS things that H834 RPRO are done H6213 under H8478 NMS heaven H8064 D-AMP : this H1931 PPRO-3MS sore H7451 AMS travail H6045 hath God H430 EDP given H5414 VQQ3MS to the sons H1121 L-CMP of man H120 D-NMS to be exercised H6031 therewith .

15 That which is crooked H5791 cannot H3201 VQY3MS be made straight H8626 : and that which is wanting H2642 cannot H3201 VQY3MS be numbered H4487 .
16 I H589 PPRO-1MS communed H1696 VPQ1MS with H5973 PREP mine own heart H3820 NMS-1MS , saying H559 L-VQFC , Lo H2009 IJEC , I H589 PPRO-1MS am come to great estate H1431 , and have gotten more H3254 wisdom H2451 NFS than H5921 PREP all H3605 NMS they that H834 RPRO have been H1961 VQQ3MS before H6440 L-CMP me in H5921 PREP Jerusalem H3389 : yea , my heart H3820 NMS-1MS had great H7235 VHFA experience H7200 VQQ3MS of wisdom H2451 NFS and knowledge H1847 .
17 And I gave H5414 my heart H3820 NMS-1MS to know H3045 L-VQFC wisdom H2451 NFS , and to know H3045 madness H1947 and folly H5531 : I perceived H3045 VQY1MS that this H2088 DPRO also H7945 is vexation H7475 of spirit H7307 NMS .
18 For H3588 CONJ in much H7230 wisdom H2451 NFS is much H7230 grief H3708 : and he that increaseth H3254 knowledge H1847 NFS increaseth H3254 sorrow H4341 .
