Proverbs 3:1 (IRVTA) Indian Revised Version - Tamil

1 {ஞானத்தினால் தொடர்ந்துவரும் பலன்கள்} PS என் மகனே, என்னுடைய போதகத்தை மறவாதே;
உன்னுடைய இருதயம் என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளைக் காக்கட்டும்.
2 அவைகள் உனக்கு நீடித்த நாட்களையும்,
நீண்ட ஆயுளையும், சமாதானத்தையும் பெருகச்செய்யும்.
3 கிருபையும் சத்தியமும் உன்னைவிட்டு விலகாமல் இருப்பதாக;
நீ அவைகளை உன்னுடைய கழுத்திலே கட்டி,
அவைகளை உன்னுடைய இருதயமாகிய பலகையில் எழுதிக்கொள்.
4 அதினால் தேவனுடைய பார்வையிலும் மனிதர்களுடைய பார்வையிலும் தயவையும் நற்புத்தியும் பெறுவாய்.
5 உன்னுடைய சுயபுத்தியின்மேல் சாயாமல்,
உன்னுடைய முழு இருதயத்தோடும் கர்த்தரில் நம்பிக்கையாக இருந்து,
6 உன்னுடைய வழிகளிலெல்லாம் அவரை நினைத்துக்கொள்;
அப்பொழுது அவர் உன்னுடைய பாதைகளைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துவார்.
7 நீ உன்னை ஞானியென்று எண்ணாதே;
யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயந்து,
தீமையை விட்டு விலகு.
8 அது உன்னுடைய சரீரத்திற்கு ஆரோக்கியமும்,
உன்னுடைய எலும்புகளுக்கு ஊனுமாகும்.
9 உன்னுடைய பொருளாலும்,
உன்னுடைய எல்லா விளைச்சலின் முதற்பலனாலும் யெகோவாவுக்கு மரியாதை செலுத்து.
10 அப்பொழுது உன்னுடைய களஞ்சியங்கள் பூரணமாக நிரம்பும்;
உன்னுடைய ஆலைகளில் திராட்சைரசம் புரண்டோடும்.
11 என் மகனே, நீ யெகோவாவுடைய தண்டனையை அற்பமாக எண்ணாதே,
அவர் கடிந்துகொள்ளும்போது சோர்ந்துபோகாதே.
12 தகப்பன் தான் நேசிக்கிற மகனைத் தண்டிக்கிறதுபோல,
யெகோவாவும் எவனிடத்தில் அன்பாக இருக்கிறாரோ அவனை தண்டிக்கிறார்.
13 ஞானத்தைக் கண்டடைகிற மனிதனும்,
புத்தியைச் சம்பாதிக்கிற மனிதனும் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
14 அதின் வியாபாரம் வெள்ளி வியாபாரத்திலும்,
அதின் ஆதாயம் சுத்தப்பொன்னிலும் உத்தமமானது.
15 முத்துக்களைவிட அது விலையேறப்பெற்றது;
நீ ஆசைப்படுவது ஒன்றும் அதற்கு சமமல்ல.
16 அதின் வலதுகையில் நீடித்த ஆயுளும்,
அதின் இடதுகையில் செல்வமும் கனமும் இருக்கிறது.
17 அதின் வழிகள் இனிதான வழிகள்,
அதின் பாதைகளெல்லாம் சமாதானம்.
18 அது தன்னை அடைந்தவர்களுக்கு ஜீவமரம்,
அதைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளுகிற எவனும் பாக்கியவான்.
19 யெகோவா ஞானத்தினாலே பூமியை அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தி,
புத்தியினாலே வானங்களை நிலைநிறுத்தினார்.
20 அவருடைய ஞானத்தினாலே ஆழங்கள் பிரிந்தது,
ஆகாயமும் பனியைப் பெய்கிறது.
21 என் மகனே, இவைகள் உன்னுடைய கண்களைவிட்டுப் பிரியாமல் இருப்பதாக;
மெய்ஞானத்தையும் நல்ல ஆலோசனையையும் காத்துக்கொள்.
22 அவைகள் உன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவுக்கு உயிரும்,
உன்னுடைய கழுத்துக்கு அலங்காரமுமாகவும் இருக்கும்.
23 அப்பொழுது நீ பயமின்றி உன்னுடைய வழியில் நடப்பாய்,
உன்னுடைய கால் இடறாது.
24 நீ படுக்கும்போது பயப்படாமல் இருப்பாய்;
நீ படுத்துக்கொள்ளும்போது உன்னுடைய தூக்கம் இன்பமாக இருக்கும்.
25 திடீரென வரும் திகிலும்,
துன்மார்க்கர்களின் பேரழிவும் வரும்போது நீ பயப்படவேண்டாம்.
26 யெகோவா உன்னுடைய நம்பிக்கையாக இருந்து,
உன்னுடைய கால் சிக்கிக்கொள்ளாதபடிக் காப்பார்.
27 நன்மைசெய்யும்படி உனக்குத் திராணியிருக்கும்போது, அதை செய்யக்கூடியவர்களுக்குச் செய்யாமல் இருக்காதே.
28 உன்னிடத்தில் பொருள் இருக்கும்போது உன்னுடைய அயலானை நோக்கி:
நீ போய்த் திரும்பவா, நாளைக்குத் தருவேன் என்று சொல்லாதே.
29 பயமின்றி உன்னிடத்தில் தங்குகிற
உன்னுடைய அயலானுக்கு விரோதமாகத் தீங்கு நினைக்காதே.
30 ஒருவன் உனக்குத் தீங்குசெய்யாமல் இருக்க,
காரணமின்றி அவனோடு வழக்காடாதே.
31 கொடுமைக்காரன்மேல் பொறாமைகொள்ளாதே;
அவனுடைய வழிகளில் ஒன்றையும் தெரிந்துகொள்ளாதே.
32 மாறுபாடுள்ளவன் யெகோவாவுக்கு அருவருப்பானவன்;
நீதிமான்களோடு அவருடைய இரகசியம் இருக்கிறது.
33 துன்மார்க்கனுடைய வீட்டில் யெகோவாவின் சாபம் இருக்கிறது,
நீதிமான்களுடைய வீட்டையோ அவர் ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார்.
34 இகழ்வோரை அவர் இகழுகிறார்;
தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கோ கிருபையளிக்கிறார்.
35 ஞானவான்கள் மரியாதையைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள்;
மதிகேடரோ கனவீனத்தை அடைவார்கள். PE

3 Let not H408 ADV mercy H2617 NMS and truth H571 forsake H5800 thee : bind H7194 them about H5921 PREP thy neck H1621 ; write H3789 them upon H5921 PREP the table H3871 of thine heart H3820 CMS-2MS :
4 So shalt thou find H4672 favor H2580 NMS and good H2896 AMS understanding H7922 in the sight H5869 B-CMP of God H430 EDP and man H120 .
5 Trust H982 in H413 PREP the LORD H3068 EDS with all H3605 B-CMS thine heart H3820 CMS-2MS ; and lean H8172 not H408 NPAR unto H413 PREP thine own understanding H998 .
6 In all H3605 B-CMS thy ways H1870 CMP-2MS acknowledge H3045 him , and he H1931 W-PPRO-3MS shall direct H3474 thy paths H734 .
7 Be H1961 VQI3FS not H408 NPAR wise H2450 AMS in thine own eyes H5869 : fear H3372 the LORD H3068 EDS , and depart H5493 W-VQFA from evil H7451 M-AMS .
8 It shall be H1961 VQI3FS health H7500 to thy navel H8270 , and marrow H8250 to thy bones H6106 .
9 Honor H3513 the LORD H3068 EDS with thy substance H1952 , and with the firstfruits H7225 of all H3605 NMS thine increase H8393 :
10 So shall thy barns H618 be filled H4390 with plenty H7647 , and thy presses H3342 shall burst out H6555 with new wine H8492 .
11 My son H1121 NMS-1MS , despise H3988 not H408 NPAR the chastening H4148 CMS of the LORD H3068 EDS ; neither H408 ADV be weary H6973 of his correction H8433 :
12 For CONJ whom H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS loveth H157 he correcteth H3198 VHY3MS ; even as a father H1 the son H1121 NMS in whom he delighteth H7521 .
13 Happy H835 CMP is the man H120 NMS that findeth H4672 VQPMS wisdom H2451 NFS , and the man H120 W-NMS that getteth H6329 understanding H8394 NFS .
14 For H3588 CONJ the merchandise H5504 of it is better H2896 AMS than the merchandise H5505 of silver H3701 NMS , and the gain H8393 thereof than fine gold H2742 .
15 She H1931 PPRO-3FS is more precious H3368 than rubies H6443 : and all H3605 W-CMS the things thou canst desire H2656 are not H3808 NADV to be compared H7737 unto her .
16 Length H753 CMS of days H3117 NMP is in her right hand H3225 ; and in her left hand H8040 riches H6239 and honor H3519 .
17 Her ways H1870 are ways H1870 of pleasantness H5278 , and all H3605 W-CMS her paths H5410 are peace H7965 .
18 She H1931 PPRO-3FS is a tree H6086 NMS of life H2416 NMP to them that lay hold H2388 upon her : and happy H833 is every one that retaineth H8551 her .

23 Then H227 ADV shalt thou walk H1980 VQY2MS in thy way H1870 CMS-2MS safely H983 L-NMS , and thy foot H7272 shall not H3808 NADV stumble H5062 .
24 When H518 PART thou liest down H7901 , thou shalt not H3808 ADV be afraid H6342 : yea , thou shalt lie down H7901 , and thy sleep H8142 shall be sweet H6149 .
25 Be not H408 NPAR afraid H3372 of sudden H6597 ADV fear H6343 M-CMS , neither of the desolation H7722 of the wicked H7563 AMP , when H3588 CONJ it cometh H935 .
26 For H3588 CONJ the LORD H3068 EDS shall be H1961 VQY3MS thy confidence H3689 , and shall keep H8104 thy foot H7272 CFS-2MS from being taken H3921 .
27 Withhold H4513 not H408 NPAR good H2896 AMS from them to whom it is due H1167 , when it is H1961 in the power H410 L-NMS of thine hand H3027 to do H6213 it .
28 Say H559 not H408 NPAR unto thy neighbor H7453 , Go H1980 VQI2MS , and come again H7725 , and tomorrow H4279 I will give H5414 VQY1MS ; when thou hast H3426 it by H854 PART-2FS thee .
29 Devise H2790 not H408 NPAR evil H7451 against H5921 PREP thy neighbor H7453 , seeing he H1931 W-PPRO-3MS dwelleth H3427 VQPMS securely H983 L-NMS by H854 PART-2FS thee .

31 Envy H7065 thou not H408 NPAR the oppressor H2555 AMS , and choose H977 none H408 ADV of his ways H1870 .
32 For H3588 CONJ the froward H3868 is abomination H8441 to the LORD H3068 EDS : but his secret H5475 is with H854 the righteous H3477 AMP .
33 The curse H3994 of the LORD H3068 EDS is in the house H1004 B-CMS of the wicked H7563 AMS : but he blesseth H1288 the habitation H5116 of the just H6662 AMP .
34 Surely H518 PART he H1931 PPRO-3MS scorneth H3887 the scorners H3887 : but he giveth H5414 VQY3MS grace H2580 unto the lowly H6035 .
35 The wise H2450 AMP shall inherit H5157 glory H3519 : but shame H7036 shall be the promotion H7311 of fools H3684 W-NMP .
