Joshua 1:1 (IRVTA) Indian Revised Version - Tamil

1 {யோசுவாவிற்குக் யெகோவாவுடைய கட்டளை} PS யெகோவாவுடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய மோசே இறந்தபின்பு, யெகோவா மோசேயின் ஊழியக்காரனான நூனின் மகனாகிய யோசுவாவைப் பார்த்து:
2 என் ஊழியக்காரனாகிய மோசே இறந்துபோனான்; “இப்பொழுது நீயும் இந்த மக்கள் எல்லோரும் எழுந்து, இந்த யோர்தான் நதியைக் கடந்து, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு நான் கொடுக்கும் தேசத்திற்குப் போங்கள்.
3 நான் மோசேக்குச் சொன்னபடி உங்களுடைய கால்கள் மிதிக்கும் எல்லா இடத்தையும் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்.
4 வனாந்திரமும் இந்த லீபனோனும் தொடங்கி ஐப்பிராத்து நதியான பெரிய நதிவரைக்கும் உள்ள ஏத்தியரின் தேசம் அனைத்தும், சூரியன் மறைகிற திசையான மத்திய தரைக்கடல் வரைக்கும் உங்களுடைய எல்லையாக இருக்கும்.
5 நீ உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாட்களெல்லாம் ஒருவனும் உனக்கு முன்பாக எதிர்த்து நிற்பதில்லை; நான் மோசேயோடு இருந்ததுபோல, உன்னோடும் இருப்பேன்; நான் உன்னைவிட்டு விலகுவதுமில்லை, உன்னைக் கைவிடுவதுமில்லை.
6 பெலன்கொண்டு திடமனதாக இரு; இந்த மக்களின் முற்பிதாக்களுக்கு நான் கொடுப்பேன் என்று வாக்குக்கொடுத்த தேசத்தை நீ இவர்களுக்குப் பங்கிடுவாய்.
7 என் ஊழியக்காரனாகிய மோசே உனக்குக் கற்பித்த நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின்படியெல்லாம் செய்ய கவனமாக இருப்பதற்கு மிகவும் பெலன்கொண்டு திடமனதாக இரு; நீ போகும் இடங்களெல்லாம் புத்திமானாக நடந்துகொள்ளும்படி, அதை விட்டு வலது இடதுபுறம் விலகாமல் இருப்பாயாக.
8 இந்த நியாயப்பிரமாண புத்தகம் உன் வாயைவிட்டுப் பிரியாமல் இருப்பதாக; இதில் எழுதியிருக்கிறவைகளின்படியெல்லாம் நீ செய்ய கவனமாக இருக்கும்படி, இரவும் பகலும் அதைத் தியானித்துக்கொண்டிருப்பாயாக; அப்பொழுது நீ உன் வழியை வாய்க்கச்செய்வாய், அப்பொழுது புத்திமானாகவும் நடந்துகொள்ளுவாய்.
9 நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடவில்லையா? பெலன்கொண்டு திடமனதாக இரு; திகையாதே, கலங்காதே, நீ போகும் இடங்களெல்லாம் உன் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா உன்னோடு இருக்கிறார்” என்றார்.
10 அப்பொழுது யோசுவா மக்களின் தலைவர்களை நோக்கி:
11 நீங்கள் முகாமிற்குள்ளே நடந்துபோய், மக்களைப் பார்த்து: “உங்களுக்கு உணவுப் பொருட்களை ஆயத்தம் செய்யுங்கள்; உங்களுடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவா உங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வதற்காகக் கொடுக்கும் தேசத்தை நீங்கள் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கு, இன்னும் மூன்றுநாட்களுக்குள்ளே இந்த யோர்தானைக் கடந்துபோவீர்கள்” என்று சொல்லச்சொன்னான்.
12 பின்பு யோசுவா; ரூபனியர்களையும் காத்தியர்களையும் மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்தார்களையும் நோக்கி:
13 யெகோவாவுடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய மோசே உங்களுக்குக் கற்பித்த வார்த்தையை நினைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; “உங்களுடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவா உங்களை இளைப்பாறச்செய்து, இந்த தேசத்தை உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தாரே.
14 உங்களுடைய மனைவிகளும் பிள்ளைகளும் மிருகஜீவன்களும், மோசே உங்களுக்கு யோர்தானுக்கு இந்தப்புறத்திலே கொடுத்த தேசத்தில் இருக்கட்டும்; உங்களிலுள்ள யுத்தவீரர்கள் எல்லோரும் உங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களுக்கு முன்பாக அணியணியாகக் கடந்துபோய்,
15 யெகோவா உங்களைப்போல உங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களையும் இளைப்பாறச்செய்து, அவர்களும் உங்களுடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவா தங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்வரை, அவர்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்வீர்களாக; பின்பு நீங்கள் யெகோவாவுடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய மோசே உங்களுக்கு யோர்தானுக்கு இந்தப்புறத்தில் சூரியன் உதிக்கும் திசைக்கு நேராகக் கொடுத்த உங்களுடைய சொந்தமான தேசத்திற்குத் திரும்பி, அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பீர்களாக” என்றான்.
16 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் யோசுவாவுக்கு மறுமொழியாக: நீர் எங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிறதையெல்லாம் செய்வோம்; நீர் எங்களை அனுப்பும் இடங்களுக்கெல்லாம் போவோம்.
17 நாங்கள் மோசேக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்ததுபோல உமக்கும் கீழ்ப்படிவோம்; உம்முடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவா மட்டும் மோசேயோடு இருந்ததுபோல, உம்மோடும் இருப்பாராக.
18 நீர் எங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடும் எல்லா காரியத்திலும் உம்முடைய சொல்லைக் கேட்காமல், உம்முடைய கட்டளைக்கு எதிராக முரட்டாட்டம் செய்கிற எவனும் கொலை செய்யப்படக்கடவன்; பெலன்கொண்டு திடமனதாக மட்டும் இரும் என்றார்கள். PE

2 Moses H4872 my servant H5650 CMS-1MS is dead H4191 ; now H6258 W-ADV therefore arise H6965 VQI2MS , go over H5674 this H2088 D-PMS Jordan H3383 D-EFS , thou H859 PPRO-2MS , and all H3605 W-CMS this H2088 D-PMS people H5971 , unto H413 PREP the land H776 D-GFS which H834 RPRO I H595 PPRO-1MS do give H5414 VQPMS to them , even to the children H1121 L-CMP of Israel H3478 LMS .
3 Every H3605 NMS place H4725 NUM-MS that H834 RPRO the sole H3709 of your foot H7272 shall tread H1869 upon , that have I given H5414 unto you , as H834 RPRO I said H1696 VPQ1MS unto H413 PREP Moses H4872 .
4 From the wilderness H4057 and this H2088 D-PMS Lebanon H3844 even unto H5704 the great H1419 D-AMS river H5104 D-NMS , the river H5104 Euphrates H6578 , all H3605 NMS the land H776 GFS of the Hittites H2850 , and unto H5704 W-PREP the great H1419 D-AMS sea H3220 D-NMS toward the going down H3996 of the sun H8121 , shall be H1961 VQY3MS your coast H1366 .
5 There shall not H3808 ADV any man H376 NMS be able to stand H3320 before H6440 L-CMP-2MS thee all H3605 NMS the days H3117 CMP of thy life H2416 : as H834 K-RPRO I was H1961 VQQ1MS with H5973 PREP Moses H4872 , so I will be H1961 VQY1MS with H5973 PREP-2FS thee : I will not H3808 NADV fail H7503 thee , nor H3808 W-NADV forsake H5800 thee .
6 Be strong H2388 and of a good courage H553 : for H3588 CONJ unto this H2088 D-PMS people H5971 shalt thou H859 PPRO-2MS divide for an inheritance H5157 the land H776 D-GFS , which H834 RPRO I swore H7650 unto their fathers H1 to give H5414 L-VQFC them .
7 Only H7535 ADV be thou strong H2388 and very H3966 ADV courageous H553 , that thou mayest observe H8104 L-VQFC to do H6213 L-VQFC according to all H3605 the law H8451 , which H834 RPRO Moses H4872 my servant H5650 CMS-1MS commanded H6680 thee : turn H5493 not H408 NPAR from H4480 M-PREP-3MS it to the right hand H3225 NFS or to the left H8040 , that H4616 L-CONJ thou mayest prosper H7919 whithersoever H3605 thou goest H1980 .

9 Have not H3808 D-NPAR I commanded H6680 VPQ1MS-2MS thee ? Be strong H2388 and of a good courage H553 ; be not afraid H6206 , neither H408 ADV be thou dismayed H2865 : for H3588 CONJ the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 CMP-2MS is with H5973 PREP-2MS thee whithersoever H3605 thou goest H1980 .
10 Then Joshua H3091 commanded H6680 W-VPY3MS the officers H7860 of the people H5971 , saying H559 L-VQFC ,
11 Pass H5674 through H7130 the host H4264 , and command H6680 the people H5971 , saying H559 L-VQFC , Prepare H3559 you victuals H6720 ; for H3588 CONJ within H5750 B-ADV three H7969 BMS days H3117 NMP ye H859 PPRO-2MS shall pass over H5674 this H2088 D-PMS Jordan H3383 D-EFS , to go in H935 L-VQFC to possess H3423 the land H776 D-GFS , which H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS your God H430 giveth H5414 VQPMS you to possess H3423 it .
12 And to the Reubenites H7206 , and to the Gadites H1425 , and to half H2677 the tribe H7626 CMS of Manasseh H4519 , spoke H559 VQQ3MS Joshua H3091 , saying H559 L-VQFC ,
13 Remember H2142 the word H1697 D-NMS which H834 RPRO Moses H4872 the servant H5650 of the LORD H3068 EDS commanded H6680 VPQ3MS you , saying H559 L-VQFC , The LORD H3068 EDS your God H430 hath given you rest H5117 , and hath given H5414 W-VQQ3MS you this H2063 land H776 D-GFS .
14 Your wives H802 , your little ones H2945 , and your cattle H4735 , shall remain H3427 VQY3MP in the land H776 B-NFS which H834 RPRO Moses H4872 gave H5414 VQQ3MS you on this side H5676 Jordan H3383 D-EFS ; but ye H859 W-PPRO-2MP shall pass H5674 before H6440 L-CMP your brethren H251 armed H2571 , all H3605 NMS the mighty men H1368 of valor H2428 , and help H5826 them ;
15 Until H5704 PREP the LORD H3068 EDS have given H5117 your brethren H251 rest H5117 , as he hath given you , and they H1992 PPRO-3MP also H1571 CONJ have possessed H3423 the land H776 D-GFS which H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS your God H430 giveth H5414 UNKN them : then ye shall return H7725 unto the land H776 of your possession H3425 , and enjoy H3423 it , which H834 RPRO Moses H4872 the LORD H3068 EDS \'s servant H5650 NMS gave H5414 UNKN you on this side H5676 Jordan H3383 D-EFS toward the sunrising H4217 .
16 And they answered H6030 Joshua H3091 , saying H559 L-VQFC , All H3605 NMS that H834 RPRO thou commandest H6680 us we will do H6213 , and whithersoever H3605 NMS thou sendest H7971 us , we will go H1980 .
17 According as we hearkened H8085 VQQ1MP unto H413 PREP Moses H4872 in all H3605 K-NMS things H834 RPRO , so H3651 ADV will we hearken H8085 VQY1MP unto H413 PREP thee : only H7535 ADV the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 CMP-2MS be H1961 VQY3MS with H5973 PREP-2FS thee , as H834 RPRO he was H1961 VQQ3MS with H5973 PREP Moses H4872 .
18 Whosoever H376 NMS he be that doth rebel against H4784 thy commandment H6310 CMS-2MS , and will not H3808 W-NPAR hearken unto H8085 VQY3MS thy words H1697 in all H3605 NMS that H834 RPRO thou commandest H6680 him , he shall be put to death H4191 : only H7535 ADV be strong H2388 and of a good courage H553 .
