18 சணலாடையை உடுத்திக்கொள்வார்கள்; தத்தளிப்பு அவர்களை மூடும்; எல்லா முகங்களும் வெட்கப்படும், எல்லாத் தலைகளும் மொட்டையடிக்கப்படும்.

19 தங்களுடைய வெள்ளியைத் தெருக்களில் எறிந்துவிடுவார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய பொன் வேண்டாவெறுப்பாக இருக்கும்; யெகோவாவுடைய கோபத்தின் நாளிலே அவர்களுடைய வெள்ளியும் அவர்களுடைய பொன்னும் அவர்களை விடுவிக்கமுடியாது; அவர்கள் அதினால் தங்களுடைய ஆத்துமாக்களைத் திருப்தியாக்குவதும் இல்லை, தங்களுடைய வயிறுகளை நிரப்புவதும் இல்லை; அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமமே அவர்களுக்கு இடறலாக இருந்தது.

20 அவருடைய சிங்காரத்தின் மகிமையை அகந்தைக்கு என்று வைத்து, அதிலே அருவருக்கப்படத்தக்கதும் சீ என்று இகழப்படத்தக்கதுமான காரியங்களின் சிலைகளை உண்டாக்கினார்கள்; ஆகையால் நான் அவைகளை அவர்களுக்கு வேண்டாவெறுப்பாக்கி,

21 அதை அந்நியர்களின் கையிலே கொள்ளையாகவும், பூமியில் துன்மார்க்களுக்கு சூறையாகவும் கொடுப்பேன்; அவர்கள் அதைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்குவார்கள்.

22 என்னுடைய முகத்தை அவர்களை விட்டுத் திருப்புவேன்; அதினால் என்னுடைய மறைவான இடத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்குவார்கள்; கொள்ளைக்காரர்கள் அதற்குள் நுழைந்து, அதைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்குவார்கள்.
