Job 27:1 (AMP) Amplified Bibles

1 JOB AGAIN took up his discourse and said,
2 As God lives, Who has taken away my right and denied me justice, and the Almighty, Who has vexed and embittered my life,
3 As long as my life is still whole within me, and the breath of God is yet in my nostrils,
4 My lips shall not speak untruth, nor shall my tongue utter deceit.
5 God forbid that I should justify you--saying you are right in your accusations against me; till I die, I will not put away my integrity from me.
6 My uprightness and my right standing with God I hold fast and will not let them go; my heart does not reproach me for any of my days and it shall not reproach me as long as I live.
7 Let my enemy be as the wicked, and let him who rises up against me be as the unrighteous.
8 For what is the hope of the godless and polluted, even though he has gained in this world, when God cuts him off and takes away his life?
9 Will God hear his cry when trouble comes upon him?
10 Will he take delight in the Almighty? Will he call upon God at all times?
11 I will teach you regarding the hand and handiwork of God; that which is with the Almighty God's actual treatment of the wicked man will I not conceal.
12 Behold, all of you have seen it yourselves; why then have you become altogether vain cherishing foolish notions?
13 This which I am about to tell is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage which oppressors shall receive from the Almighty:
14 If his children are multiplied, it is for the sword; and his offspring will not have sufficient bread.
15 Those who survive him, the pestilence will bury, and their widows will make no lamentation.
16 Though he heaps up silver like dust and piles up clothing like clay,
17 He may prepare it, but the just will wear it, and the innocent will divide the silver.
18 He builds his house like a moth or a spider, like a booth which a watchman makes to last for a season.
19 The wicked will lie down rich, but does it not again; he opens his eyes, and his wealth is gone.
20 Terrors overtake him like a suddenly loosened flood; a windstorm steals him away in the night.
21 The east wind lifts him up, and he is gone; it sweeps him out of his place.
22 For God and the storm hurl at him without pity and unsparingly their thunderbolts of wrath; he flees in haste before His power.
23 God causes men to clap their hands at him in malignant joy and hiss him out of his place.

2 As God H410 EDS liveth H2416 AMS , who hath taken away H5493 VHQ3MS my judgment H4941 CMS-1MS ; and the Almighty H7706 W-EDS , who hath vexed H4843 VHQ3MS my soul H5315 CFS-1MS ;
3 All H3605 CMS the while H5750 ADV my breath H5397 CFS-1MS is in me , and the spirit H7307 W-GFS of God H433 NAME-4MS is in my nostrils H639 B-CMS-1MS ;
4 My lips H8193 CFD-1MS shall not H518 PART speak H1696 VPY3FP wickedness H5766 NFS , nor H518 PART my tongue H3956 W-CMS-1MS utter H1897 VQY3MS deceit H7423 NFS .
5 God forbid H2486 IJEC-3FS that H518 PART I should justify H6663 VHY1MS you : till H5704 PREP I die H1478 VQY1MS I will not H3808 NADV remove H5493 VHY1MS mine integrity H8538 CFS-1MS from H4480 PREP-1MS me .
6 My righteousness H6666 B-CFS-1MS I hold fast H2388 VHQ1MS , and will not H3808 W-NPAR let it go H7503 VHY1MS-3FS : my heart H3824 CMS-1MS shall not H3808 W-NPAR reproach H2778 VQY3MS me so long as I live H3117 M-CMP-1MS .
7 Let mine enemy H341 VQCMS-1MS be H1961 VPY3MS as the wicked H7563 K-AMS , and he that riseth up against H6965 W-VTCMS-1MS me as the unrighteous H5767 K-NMS .
8 For H3588 CONJ what H4100 IPRO is the hope H8615 CFS of the hypocrite H2611 NMS , though H3588 CONJ he hath gained H1214 VQY3MS , when H3588 CONJ God H433 NAME-4MS taketh away H7953 VQI3MS his soul H5315 CFS-3MS ?
9 Will God H410 EDS hear H8085 VQY3MS his cry H6818 I-CFS-3MS when H3588 CONJ trouble H6869 NFS cometh H935 VQY3FS upon H5921 PREP-3MS him ?
10 Will he delight himself H6026 VTY3MS in H5921 PREP the Almighty H7706 EDS ? will he always H3605 B-CMS call upon H7121 VQY3MS God H433 NAME-4MS ?
11 I will teach H3384 VHY1MS you by the hand H3027 B-CFS of God H410 EDS : that which H834 RPRO is with H5973 PREP the Almighty H7706 EDS will I not H3808 NADV conceal H3582 VPY1MS .
12 Behold H2005 IJEC , all H3605 CMS-2MP ye yourselves H859 PPRO-2MS have seen H2372 VQP2MP it ; why H4100 WL-IGAT then are ye thus H2088 PMS altogether H1892 NMS vain H1891 VQY2MP ?
13 This H2088 DPRO is the portion H2506 NMS of a wicked H7563 AMS man H120 NMS with H5973 PREP God H410 EDS , and the heritage H5159 W-NFS of oppressors H6184 AMP , which they shall receive H3947 VQY3MP of the Almighty H7706 M-EMS .
14 If H518 PART his children H1121 CMP-3MS be multiplied H7235 VQY3MP , it is for H3926 PREP the sword H2719 NFS : and his offspring H6631 W-CMP-3MS shall not H3808 NADV be satisfied H7646 VQY3MP with bread H3899 NMS .
15 Those that remain H8300 CMS-3MS of him shall be buried H6912 VNY3MP in death H4194 BD-NMS : and his widows H490 W-CFP-3MS shall not H3808 NADV weep H1058 VQY3FP .
16 Though H518 PART he heap up H6651 VQY3MS silver H3701 NMS as the dust H6083 KD-NMS , and prepare H3559 VHY3MS raiment H4403 NMS as the clay H2563 WKD-NMS ;
17 He may prepare H3559 VHY3MS it , but the just H6662 W-AMS shall put it on H3847 VQY3MS , and the innocent H5355 AMS shall divide H2505 VQY3MS the silver H3701 W-CMS .
18 He buildeth H1129 VQQ3MS his house H1004 NMS-3MS as a moth H6211 KD-NMS , and as a booth H5521 WK-NFS that the keeper H5341 VQPMS maketh H6213 VQQ3MS .
19 The rich man H6223 AMS shall lie down H7901 VQY3MS , but he shall not H3808 W-NPAR be gathered H622 VNY3MS : he openeth H6491 VQQ3MS his eyes H5869 CMD-3MS , and he is not H369 W-ADV-3MS .
20 Terrors H1091 NFP take hold H5381 VHY3FS-3MS on him as waters H4325 KD-NMP , a tempest H5492 NFS stealeth him away H1589 VQQ3FS-3MS in the night H3915 GMS .
21 The east wind H6921 NMP carrieth him away H5375 VQY3MS-3MS , and he departeth H1980 W-VQY3MS : and as a storm hurleth H8175 W-VPY3MS-3MS him out of his place H4725 M-CMS-3MS .
22 For God shall cast H7993 W-VHI3MS upon H5921 PREP-3MS him , and not H3808 W-NPAR spare H2550 VQY3MS : he would fain flee H1272 VQFA out of his hand H3027 M-CFS-3MS .
23 Men shall clap H5606 VQY3MS their hands H3709 CFD-3MS at H5921 PREP-3MP him , and shall hiss H8319 W-VQY3MS him out of his place H4725 M-CMS-3MS .
