Job 32:1 (AMP) Amplified Bibles

1 SO THESE three men ceased to answer Job, because he was rigidly righteous (upright and in right standing with God) in his own eyes. But there was a fifth man there also.
2 Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, became indignant. His indignation was kindled against Job because he justified himself rather than God even made himself out to be better than God.
3 Also against Job's three friends was Elihu's anger kindled, because they had found no answer were unable to show his real error, and yet they had declared him to be in the wrong and responsible for his own afflictions.
4 Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job because the others were older than he.
5 But when Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouths of these three men, he became angry.
6 Then Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite said, I am young, and you are aged; for that reason I was timid and restrained and dared not declare my opinion to you.
7 I said, Age should speak, and a multitude of years should teach wisdom so let it be heard.
8 But there is a vital force a spirit of intelligence in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives men understanding. Prov. 2:6.
9 It is not the great necessarily who are wise, nor always the aged who understand justice.
10 So I say, Listen to me; I also will give you my opinion about Job's situation and my knowledge.
11 You see, I waited for your words, I listened to your wise reasons, while you searched out what to say.
12 Yes, I paid attention to what you said, and behold, not one of you convinced Job or made satisfactory replies to his words you could not refute him.
13 Beware lest you say, We have found wisdom; God thrusts Job down justly, not man God alone is dealing with him.
14 Now Job has not directed his words against me therefore I have no cause for irritation, neither will I answer him with speeches like yours. I speak for truth, not for revenge.
15 Job's friends are amazed and embarrassed, they answer no more; they have not a thing to say reports Elihu.
16 And shall I wait, because they say nothing but stand still and answer no more?
17 I also will answer my God-assigned part; I also will declare my opinion and my knowledge.
18 For I am full of words; the spirit within me constrains me.
19 My breast is as wine that has no vent; like new wineskins, it is ready to burst.
20 I must speak, that I may get relief and be refreshed; I will open my lips and answer.
21 I will not I warn you be influenced by respect for any man's person and show partiality, neither will I flatter any man.
22 For I know not how to flatter, wasting my time in mere formalities, for then my Maker would soon take me away.

5 When Elihu H453 EMS saw H7200 W-VIY3MS that H3588 CONJ there was no H369 NPAR answer H4617 NMS in the mouth H6310 B-CMS of these three H7969 BMS men H376 D-NMP , then his wrath H639 CMS-3MS was kindled H2734 W-VQY3MS .
6 And Elihu H453 EMS the son H1121 CMS of Barachel H1292 EMS the Buzite H940 D-LMS answered H6030 W-VQY3MS and said H559 W-VQY3MS , I H589 PPRO-1MS am young H6810 AMS , and ye H859 W-PPRO-2MP are very old H3453 AMP ; wherefore H3651 ADV I was afraid H2119 VQQ1MS , and durst H3372 W-VQY1MS not show H2331 M-VPFC you mine opinion H1843 CMS-1MS .
7 I said H559 VQQ1MS , Days H3117 NMP should speak H1696 VPY3MP , and multitude H7230 W-CMS of years H8141 NFP should teach H3045 VHY3MP wisdom H2451 NFS .
8 But H403 ADV there is a spirit H7307 NMS in man H582 B-NMS : and the inspiration H5397 W-CFS of the Almighty H7706 EDS giveth them understanding H995 VHY3MS-3MP .
9 Great H7227 AMP men are not H3808 ADV always wise H2449 VQY3MP : neither do the aged H2205 W-AMP understand H995 VQY3MP judgment H4941 NMS .
10 Therefore H3651 L-ADV I said H559 VQQ1MS , Hearken H8085 VQI2MS-3FS to me ; I H589 PPRO-1MS also H637 CONJ will show H2331 VPY1MS mine opinion H1843 CMS-1MS .
11 Behold H2005 IJEC , I waited H3176 VHQ1MS for your words H1697 L-CMP-2MP ; I gave ear H238 VHY1MS to H5704 PREP your reasons H8394 CFP-2MP , whilst H5704 PREP ye searched out H2713 VQY2MP-3FP what to say H4405 CFP-3FP .
12 Yea , I attended H995 VTY1MS-3FP unto H5704 W-PREP-2MP you , and , behold H2009 IJEC , there was none H369 NPAR of H4480 PREP-2MP you that convinced H3198 VHPMS Job H347 L-EMS , or that answered H6030 VQPMS his words H561 CMP-3MS :
13 Lest H6435 CONJ ye should say H559 VQY2MP , We have found out H4672 VQQ1MP wisdom H2451 NFS : God H410 EDS thrusteth him down H5086 VQY3MS-3MS , not H3808 NADV man H376 NMS .
14 Now he hath not H3808 W-NPAR directed H6186 VQQ3MS his words H4405 NFP against H413 PREP-1MS me : neither H3808 W-NPAR will I answer H7725 VHY1MS-3MS him with your speeches H561 WB-CMP-2MP .
15 They were amazed H2865 VQQ3MP , they answered H6030 VQQ3MP no H3808 NADV more H5750 ADV : they left off H6275 VHQ3MP speaking H4405 NMP .
16 When I had waited H3176 W-VHQ1MS , ( CONJ for CONJ they spoke H1696 VPY3MP not H3808 NADV , but H3588 CONJ stood still H5975 VQQ3MP , and answered H6030 VQQ3MP no H3808 NADV more H5750 ADV ; )
17 I said , I H589 PPRO-1MS will answer H6030 VQQ1MS also H637 CONJ my part H2506 CMS-1MS , I H589 PPRO-1MS also H637 CONJ will show H2331 VPY1MS mine opinion H1843 CMS-1MS .
18 For H3588 CONJ I am full H4390 VQQ1MS of matter H4405 NFP , the spirit H7307 NFS within H990 CFS-1MS me constraineth H6693 VHQ3FS-1MS me .
19 Behold H2009 IJEC , my belly H990 CFS-1MS is as wine H3196 K-NMS which hath no H3808 NADV vent H6605 VNY3MS ; it is ready to burst H1234 VNY3MS like new H2319 AMP bottles H178 K-NMP .
20 I will speak H1696 VPI1MS , that I may be refreshed H7304 W-VQY3MS : I will open H6605 VQY1MS my lips H8193 CFD-1MS and answer H6030 W-VQI1MS .
21 Let me not H408 NPAR , I pray you H4994 IJEC , accept H5375 VQY1MS any man H376 NMS \'s person H6440 CMP , neither H3808 NADV let me give flattering titles H3655 VPY1MS unto H413 W-PREP man H120 NMS .
22 For H3588 CONJ I know H3045 VQY1MS not H3808 NADV to give flattering titles H3655 VPY1MS ; in so doing my maker H6213 VQCMS-1MS would soon H4592 K-AMS take me away H5375 VQY3MS-1MS .
