Nahum 2:1 (ERVHI) Easy to Read Version - Hindi

1 नीनवे, तेरे विरूद्ध युद्ध करने को विनाशकारी आ रहा है। सो तू अपने नगर के स्थान सुरक्षित कर ले। राहों पर आँख रख, युद्ध को तत्पर रह, लड़ाई की तैयारी कर!
2 क्यों क्योंकि यहोवा याकूब को महिमा लौटा रहा है जैसे इस्राएल की महिमा। अश्शूर के लोगों ने इस्राएल की प्रजा का नाश किया और उनकी अंगूर की बेलें रौंद ड़ाली हैं।
3 उन सैनिकों की ढाल लाल है। उनकी वर्दियाँ सुर्ख लाल हैं। उनके रथ युद्ध के लिये पंक्तिबद्ध हो गये हैं और वे ऐसे चमक रहे हैं जैसे वे आग की लपटें हों। उनके घोड़े चल पड़ने को तत्पर हैं।
4 उनके रथ गलियों में भयंकर रीति से भागते हैं। वे खुले मैदानों में सुलगती मशालों से दिखते हुये वेग से पीछे और आगे को दौड़ रहे हैं। वे ऐसे लगते हैं जैसे यहाँ वहाँ बिजली कड़क रही हो!
5 अश्शूर का राजा अपने उन सैनिकों को बुला रहा है जो सर्वश्रेष्ठ हैं। किन्तु वे ठोकर खा रहे हैं और मार्ग में गिरे जा रहे हैं। वे नगर परकोटे पर दौड़ते हैं और वे भेदक मूसल के लिये प्राचीर रच रहे हैं।
6 किन्तु वे द्वार जो नदियों के निकट है, खुले हैं। शत्रु उनमें से जा रहा है और राजा के महल को ध्वस्त कर रहा है।
7 देखो, यह शत्रु रानी को उठा ले जाता है और उसकी दासियाँ बिलखती हैं जैसे दु:ख से भरी कपोती हों। वे अपना दु:ख प्रगट करने को निज छाती पीट रहीं हैं।
8 नीनवे ऐसे तालाब सा हो गया है जिसका पानी बह कर बाहर निकल रहा हो। वे लोग पुकार कर कह रहे हैं, “रूको! रुको! ठहरे रहो, कहीं भाग मत जाओ।” किन्तु कोई न ही रूकता है और न ही कोई उन पर ध्यान देता है!
9 हे सैनिको, तुम जो नीनवे का विनाश कर रहे हो! तुम चाँदी ले लो और यह सोना ले लो! यहाँ पर लेने को बहुतेरी वस्तुऐं हैं। यहाँ पर बहुत से खजाने भी हैं!
10 अब नीनवे खाली है, सब कुछ लुट गया है। नगर बर्बाद हो गया है! लोगों ने निज साहस खो दिया है। उनके मन डर से पिघल रहे हैं, उनके घुटने आपस में टकराते हैं। उनके तन काँप रहे हैं, उनके मुख डर से पीले पड़ गये हैं।
11 नीनवे जो कभी सिंह का माँद था, अब वह कहाँ है जहाँ सिंह और सिंहनियाँ रहा करते थे। उनके बच्चे निर्भय थे।
12 जिस सिंह ने (नीनवे के राजा ने) अपने बच्चों और मादाओं को तृप्ति देने के लिये कितने ही शिकार मारे थे। उसने माँद (नीनवे) भर ली थी। मादाओं और नरों की देहों से जिनको उसने मारा था।
13 सर्वशक्तिमान यहोवा कहता है, “नीनवे, मैं तेरे विरूद्ध हूँ! मैं तेरे रथों को युद्ध में जला दूँगा।मैं तेरे “जवान सिंहों” की हत्या करूँगा। तू फिर कभी इस धरती पर कोई भी अपना शिकार मार नहीं पायेगा। लोग फिर कभी तेरे हरकारों को नहीं सुनेंगे।”
