1 यहोवा राजा है। वह सामर्थ्य और महिमा का वस्त्र पहने है। वह तैयार है, सो संसार स्थिर है। वह नहीं टलेगा।
2 हे परमेश्वर, तेरा साम्राज्य अनादि काल से टिका हुआ है। तू सदा जीवित है।
3 हे यहोवा, नदियों का गर्जन बहुत तीव्र है। पछाड़ खाती लहरों का शब्द घनघोर है।
4 समुद्र की पछाड़ खाती लहरे गरजती हैं, और वे शक्तिशाली हैं। किन्तु ऊपर वाला यहोवा अधिक शक्तिशाली है।
5 हे यहोवा, तेरा विधान सदा बना रहेगा। तेरा पवित्र मन्दिर चिरस्थायी होगा।
